best sativa for a confined space?

Hello all!

I am growing in a 2'x3'x3' tent with a 250w hid. Lately I've been looking at new strains to try, and would like to get some good sativas that are big on social effects and low on burn-out.

I've been especially interested in the many variations on Haze. The "Arjan's Haze" line looks quite excellent. However, I'm wondering what other people's experience has been, and what would work best in a confined space? Flowering time is not an issue. I'm willing to wait 12-13 weeks for a premium, clear headed creative high.

Right now I've got one Alaskan Ice and one Nemeis on the go, ready to harvest in a couple weeks or so.

you can grow anything you want if you flower freshly rooted cuttings. This also is the best way to grow Haze types as they are big loose sloppy plants as is, but a sea of green of cuttings will yield much better and not get too tall.
Any Haze strain will blow you away. I grew one called Blaze (Blueberry X Haze) that was fantastic. Lots of variability in THC levels with Haze crosses so pick your clone mother carefully.

the Alaskan Ice (on the left) is Haze x White Widow. Tonnes of triches on her! I'm looking forward to having a taste. Will be cutting on Dec. 5th or so.

I don't have the space to keep mothers; I take a few clones before flowering and keep them tiny until the next grow. I'm not sure I'd have the capacity to get enough cuttings for a SoG. Do you think Haze would work well with a screen?

CHeck out Tiny bomb, its a good strong... and small flowering plant.

I honestly would not grow a sativa dominant strain in that space, they need space and you won't get it's (plant) best effort so to say in bud production. In marijuana growing we can force and do a lot of shit to the plant becuase it's a weed but that does not mean we should. I would try a hybrid variety like white widow or Silver haze

Kali Mist by Serious Seeds is my favorite, an up-opiate high. Bubblegum (Serious for sativa) is excellent as well. Like frmrboi said, flower short clones. From seed both can be grown less than 1' from your bucket height with low stress training.

Here's a Big Laughing (Dr Greenthumb), stretches 50% each time. I flower at 16" and it ends up 24" every time.

Flo by DJ Short would be good, but it's a small producer. Bubblegum is a crystal clear euphoric high.

Are those pics of the buckets both Kali Mist and Bubblegum? They look like they would do very well under a screen, which is how I'm envisioning my next grow.

Top it first around 5 nodes high, and then your good to go.
You can grow a mother as a bonsai but that requires some skill.

Those are two Strawberry Diesel IHF, each with about 6' of stem. Here are two Kali mist, the tall young one less than 12" and the older runt about 4". I've got about a litre (4 cups) of cured bud from the runt, I had a little Bubblegum in the other half of the bucket. The one on the left was at 6 weeks in this pic.

And a Flo on the left and a Bubblegum on the right. Like a screen-less scrog, just bend the stem when you transplant going into flower.

those plants look sick, hobbes! And, I love that you measure you're yield in litres!

I have done many grows with a "screenless scrog", as you say. Like, when I used to grow in a rubbermaid container with cfls. My goal is to become the self-proclaimed master of confined spaces!
