Right, I havent been on this website for quite a while now and feel that its time to come back to the community of growers alike.

I am coming to the end of a grow and Ive decided for my next grow, (that is approaching quickly and feel has been quite sucessful), I am going to attempt a SCROG and do a journal for you all to read as ive enjoyed reading lots of other journals on here.
Id really like any questions or comments welcomed as I progress into my grow. I will be posting pics and comments as soon as it gets underway....so stay tuned!!

SET UP:

The Ultimate cuttings from DP seed bank
NFT system home made from 4" soil pipe.
2 X 400W HPS lights
Primair fan system (but only extraction fan is working)
Canna Aqua/Flores nutes
Fan
2 x 2 x 2M Room

Right so here I am with my scrog attempt.

Plants are in the system Ive built, just got to put the screen over but havent had much time lately.

So Ph 5.8 EC 1.4
Nutes Aqua flores for 1st 2 weeks of flower then switch

These have been in clones for 22 days and got transplanted today, straight onto 12/12. I will try and do the screen tomorrow if I have time.

Good luck man, I've got 8 of these just over 3 weeks into flower, from seeds, but I lst them for a the whole veg period(52 days) then put up a net 4 flower and man they went nuts on lst and now there just exploding every were with buds, im thinking there gonna yield well under my 1000w super lumens, guess well c, I've got a journal on them, what do u average on a harvest roughly?

Thanks guys, well the first time I grew these I put them into veg when they were 12" and under, and they all reached at least 1mtr, that's why I've decided to put them into flower straight away. That crop was 15 plants in this exact system (previous pics) and yielded just over 21 ounces dry, admitidally I was a little disappointed but what could I expect from 2 400w lights and too many plants in such a small place, oh and a few technical problems along the way. This time round though I'm expecting to see at least 40oz dry but we'll c.

So all my daily checks have been fine growth a little slower than expected, but think they had a little shock from the transplant as i had to trim alot of the roots off.

I will post some more pictures later.

So here are just a couple of updated shots. Ive started to bend them under the screen now. Thought I was gonna loose one as she was a bit big goin under the screen and my fat sausage fingers managed to almost snap the poor girl in half but shes recovered. What a lovely lady!

cheers I'm really in love with system it's just so simple with amazing results, got the idea from a YouTube video. Light dispersions pretty good, surprisingly, actually some of my outer buds were my bigger ones (from my last crop)

Really wanted 600w but haven't got the money at present

Thanks man, the room is 2m x 2m x 2m the screen is about 1.7 x 1.4 ish, I can get down either side of it so that's not too much of a problem.

dang u sure ended up with some sativa outta that strain... i never expected The Ultimate from DP to be so lanky, whispy, and all over the place. u may have just convinced me NOT to get this strain... sorry. i was shocked how big the buds were in the pics for how lanky the plants are tho. how do u like the strain all in all so far man?? do u think it could be prevented from getting so lanky?

i just re-read this and i sound like an asshole... sorry! i really like yur buds actually! i just was kinda bummed that the plants looked so sativa.

Really? you think that 3ft is lanky? I didn't think they were that bad, think they'd just need a little more space of there own. The overall strain I am really impressed with but as with all strains I still have alot to learn.

So I've just had a knee operation, on both knees, and I'm finding it a bit of a struggle to get to my room, I did however manage a visit yesterday, (took me a lifetime to get out there though.). Things are progressing fine, plants are looking healthy, I think by the middle of next week I am going to let the screen take its own path, I have been bending them under the screen and all is well.

Ph 5.8 constant
ec turned up to 1.8 still using aqua vega until flowers start to show.

Hopefully I will be able to post so more pics up in the next few days.

Since ive boosted the nutes theyve gone mental, so looks like ill be running a higher nute strength this time.

Looking good man, tell me about the extra nutes, I tried starting stepping down on the nutes slowly at about week 5,not even 10% down and they went mental and starting showing major nutes deficiency, so I had to go up even higher to make them happy again, they sure do love heavy nutes
