I've been using sunshine #4 and promix HP with mixed results.
What is inexpensive, available in the Toronto area, and capable of growing cannabis without needing to be amended? No added dolomite. No worrying about pH, except for the nute solution that goes in. If there is one thing that drives me insane, it's pH!
Back on the subject of the medium, I live in a very confined apartment and have no place to mix all this crap up. I have to do it in such small batches to keep everything neat that it ends up sucking up a huge amount of time.
There must be a mass-produced mixture that was conceived with solely cannabis in mind.
This product must exist. If not, someone needs to get on it.
Sunshine #4 wasn't too bad but it wasn't available last time I grabbed supplies so I got Promix HP on the understanding that they were very similar. But I am having nothing but problems with it. Hopefully it was just a bad bale. But there must be something better than either of these? I usually amended the sunshine with dolomite and perlite when I used it, but as I said, it is very tedious to make this stuff on a cramped balcony. And winter is coming!
