If you want the best, and least over bred Sk1 seeds, look into Authentic Genetics. He got them straight from Mel Frank who got them from Skunkman in 1988. They have only ben bred 2 times, and are only $50 a pack. They were $100 a pack, but AG has lowered all of their prices on all seeds. You wont find a better Sk1 than these.
They legit? Never heard of authentic?

Thanks for the recommendations everyone. FYI I emailed North Atlantic Seed 3 days ago and haven't heard back--maybe their website email form was broken but even so that's not a great look. Will check out others mentioned here and report back. That Pine Tar sounds intriguing...

Thanks @thumper60 I remember you mentioning them before. They probably just don't realize the contact form on their site is broken. I'll try giving them a ring this week. You grow Sleestack? When did it finish?

I'll try and check in on the outdoor forum when things get rolling in April. Been pretty busy with the hemp/CBD biz.

Yes i have grown sleestack an sleestack skunk here in maine outdoor guerrilla style done early mid oct. No mold to speak of. Plants get big an are very easy to trim very little leaf in the bud.

Just checking back in after doing some more research and hunting around. Tried North Atlantic again, still no response and they don't list a phone number so I think they're off my list now. Seedheaven prices were just in Euros, didn't see a way to pay in $ so moved on. Authentic Genetics looks promising, and I also connected with Island Life Seeds as they had some Pine Tar in stock. Seem legit., anybody deal with them before? Sounds like a Vancouver operation.

That Pine Tar sounded great, although I notice Leafly has Myrcene as the dominant terp., which I definitely don't want. Not sure if Leafly is 100% accurate, but they do have a way to search strains by dominant terpene which is kind of handy.

I think my end goal might be to establish 3-4 different strains with different terp. profiles that I can breed and have them acclimate over time to my outdoor growing conditions here (which as @thumper60 well knows can be brutal come fall!). I tried pollinating some of my greenpoints last summer but messed up on the pollen collection and ended up ruining it (the pollen, that is--flowers I harvested were A1!).

Well, I ordered some Pine Tar from Island Life Seeds and Northern Lights #5 from Authentic Genetics. Two indicas, thinking maybe a sativa-leaning hybrid and I'll be good to go for 2023. Trying to find something with limonene as the dominant terp. Any favorites? Copper Chem and Chinook Haze from Greenpoint were both nice citrusy strains, something like those would work.
