Anywhere it is green has good soil, and probably high humidity. Indiana, Kentucky, Iowa, Illinois, Tennessee all have pretty mild weather and fertile soil. good growing seasons. wisconsin and minnesota are good too but the weather frosts pretty early there. Too far south and the humidity and heat probably become a problem. Too far north and you get early frost. Central eastern united states and the west coast, and hawaii, are probably the best places in the US to grow
