Best strain for a first time noob !!!!

Looking for the easiest quickest grow possible, but a decent sized yield and nice quality grade, autoflowering so i dont have to worry about changing light cycles or anything too technical (im a lazy pothead sure most of you can relate!!!) looking at easyryder as i need something quite small around two -3foot??

also wondering if itll be a problem if the plants gets too wide and all the colas and branches are squashed together in a big lump in a smallish cupboard??


dont wanna spend more than 80quid on lights either if you guys could recommend any?? looking at a 300w clf hope that will suffice !!

THe best strain i would suggest is the Lowryder autoflowering seeds. A very nice strain. short timed and potent. a great grow for first times ! Even if everything is squashed as long as they get light and enought air they should be fine . For vegetating i would go with a few 26 watt CFLs to start things off then you should look into going bigger for flowering ! Hope this helped . MERRY CHRISTMAS !

That sound like a good strain but i was never into autoflowering myself. Do you know how potent that strain is ?

I can relate. Changing the time settings on a timer is so highly technical that it would stump most NASA scientists. So it is a judicious decision to make to pick a strain that has been watered down with Ruderalis but is so simple to grow that "Rain Man" could grow it.

i havent smoked it yet myself but i have mates that have and they love it and grow it all year round.i have one ready for they chop so i will let you know

yes some autos can take longer than 2months most plants take longer than the breeders put on there packets thats just the way it is. have a look at dels thread mate 12/12 from seed he uses regular strains with really good results they stay small and only take 10-12 weeks --> https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/416589-12-12-seed-thread.html

Forget the autos. You run lights at 24/7 for veg and then a one time switch to 12/12. Pretty simple.

Try Northern Lights feminized seeds from Nirvana

This is old and stable genetics. It is forgiving to mistakes, doesn't grow tall and has a decent yield.

just the size of a northern lights plant in a small closet is a concern?? can i manipulate the size by ensuring i put it in a smaller pot?

If you set the lights to 12/12 light/dark from seed, then they will be the same height as autos.
You can train the plant by bending the stem down so that it grows bushier instead of taller.
IMO autos are weak.

sensi seeds skunk #1.its a fairly light feeder so dont over do it with the nutes.

also doesnt specify if it includes the bulb or if its just the reflector gonna have to message him to make sure haha

In the ad for the light it tells you its for veg. Up near the top. Need some red spectrum for flower.

Super Silver Haze was really easy belive it or not, but I wouldn't recommend it to a new grower because of their idea that nutrients are what 'make' your buds big, so if the buds aren't as big as you'd like, then just give them more nutrients.
SSH was easy because it required very little nutrient doses.
I'd say to go with a Skunk or an Afghani/Indica. Mr. Nice Master Kush x Skunk is a good one. Some can finish in as fast as 6 weeks but most around 8 weeks. Mr. Nice Medicine Man aka White Rhino is really strong and easy to grow. MNS Shit aka Skunk #1 is another really easy plant to grow.

haha those are some good plants beansly but you may have missed the space constraints that ganjagazza has

and even though super silver haze has NL genetics... it would be a bad choice for a tiny grow room...

i dont know whether or not you were being sarcastically funny or not but when you mentioned ssh this made me laugh...


and to ganjagazza dont go with autos unless you are just deadset on them they are fine dont get me wrong but they can be a little trickier to get anything really good out of them considering im presuming this is a first grow for you and typically if you happen to muck something up during the first 3 weeks of an auto's life you will get abysmal yields...

so like a couple of others have stated here... go with any type of northern lights... for space concerns they will be short and stocky espesially ones with higher indica phenotyped so make sure the genetics lean towards indica p.s. the original ones were 100% indica but nowadays after much breeding they have a little bit sativa in it so usually they are around 70% indica and 30% sativa...

they will taste delicious... and generally even if done half right will be uber potent

by the way they should give you decent yields even with such a small amount of light that you can get... and on top of that they usually only take a short amount of time compared to other strains to finish flowering and will really give you the best bang for the buck so to speak
