Thank you....Takes time and space, tempered by PATIENCE (longest project so-far)....I feel I got what I went for with it.....Not trying to knock it out of the park for % or anything....Went for an intended effect without fear or paranoia. Up and happy yet calming and easy to sit, with out the "need to"....bumps around 18-21% with an ok, 1-2>CBD....
I got concerned at first in the program as they tended to look very Afghani (Indica) at young ages....Made a cpl of adjustments later and they still start that way but, seem to change towards a more crossed look. Once I had the effect pheno I was looking for it was then BX'd.....

I have to say. Some of the available strains from www.drgreenthumb.com can be mind bending IF you dial them in and approach the plants potential!

TRY these,
Ghost cut OG - This is the first result from the breeding program to make the original OG kush! FANTASTIC strain! It can hit 25% alone.....I had some test out right at 25!
East Coast Sour Diesel - Greenthumbs is in my book is the best version over any "well known" version.....

Remember that you need to dial in each strain to get the best results!

Yes! One of the 2 are from right around me here.....Last I knew the "true" strain was held buy 3 guys only and one supplies a cpl of disp with results. Got no more on that...

I "think" Matt Riot got his hands on a cut. Got a notice from him that it was going to come out later in the summer as an S1 and crosses..;-)

He has the Hog Breath too......Every 3 or 4 years he puts out some S1's......All I can say is to bug him to do more!

That's been a bit of a unicorn for me. That daytime smoke that has you alert, happy, and motivated....but not antsy or jittery, and not face melting potency. Just something that puts you in a good mood and doesn't leave you wanting a nap after it wears off (like most strains).

The Kali Mist I grew years ago was like that. Perfect daytime weed.

It was for me too!
This end crossing was the third in the search for my goal......I found the BT X Af X Ghost got me really close the first try.....Spent time looking for the right pheno, then again in each step...got a lot easier as I closed in on the end.....This was a total of a 5 year project to actually "find" what I was looking for......The wife wants what the wife wants! Now I like it too!

I got his hogsbreath x orange dreamsicle kush. Only popped one and it was a gorgeous male. Kept pollen it was so nice. Hear very mixed reviews about Matt Riot but I'm pretty sure I've seen Bodhi endorse him even so...

If people are salty cause he does "shady stuff" to get cuts or is a dick I could care less. I think most in the seed game are shady fucks so whatever. And I can be a dick myself. All I wanna know is does Riot have the fire or the mids? :)

Any chance you're from the San Diego area? That's where I got my hogs and p91 cuts years ago.

I'd say P91 is the only clone I truly miss and think about all the time. Lost her in 2011. :(

I love the goji og. They have flavors for everyone.

Currently growing a few boysenberry hashplant from bodhi. Vigorous little monsters :)
 
Dr Who thanks for the info. Some Giesel S1's would be awesome to have. Would also love some S1s from Chem91 and ChemD, I just don't know anyone that has ever offered them. I figure you'd have to keep an eye out for herms, but I wouldn't mind. I am pretty sure I will be getting some stuff from JJ at Top Dawg since it seems to be the closest to the real Chems as you can get.

I personally have a lot of chem crosses, but nothing that is straight chem. I have a couple packs of Giesel x Appalachia from Bodhi which should throw some heavy Giesel phenos. I bet if I F2'd that line I could find some that are almost identical to Giesel. And I have the Chem 3 x Appy, Chem91 JB x Appy. Chem91 VA x Snow Lotus. Think that is most of them.. but I'd still love to have the straight chemdog lines like from Top Dawg.

Some of his gear I've tried is fire....Other stuff - not so much. His cookies can be real fire,,,,,just be fussy about which one you pic. (21 cookies is real nice)
Clockwork - the right pheno can be insane.....Got one early on but, like a fool dropped it......at 250 for 6 beans I'm not looking through 100 beans to fine the fly again.
Platinum Banana I REALLY like....Still got a pink pistil pheno

He's never been a dick to me.....I can't speak on how he got started/collecting his early stock. I didn't know of him then.

And it be Michigan here abouts I live....He tracked down the P-91 by word of mouth. Person he traded with is not giving up the story, so I don't know what he got in return.....

Another possible hot find is RezDog (snitch) is rumored to be hooked up with Chem again...
SSSHD IBL is being offered (among a cpl of other goodies) at seedbay for $100 per 100 straight runs.....I hear not so great stories from not long after the "incident" about the failure of his gear quality at the time.....Can't find anyone who has tried this "new, back with chem" gear so I'm reluctant to pitch cash at a guy with that rep.....Then again it's 100 straights - could be you find the winner, winner, chicken dinner in a 100 beans at a buck a bean....
MY Holy Grail is Rez's old 4XSD......I think it's gone though..

Dr. Who, I think that Rez gear is old... very old from years ago. I remember reading last year of people considering buying some because it was so cheap but they were having horrible germination reports. Now they are even cheaper, and I assume it is the same stuff. I thought about getting some of the Chem DD or whatever it is for myself.. I heard some of his gear was pretty good even though he isn't my preferred person to buy from. I guess if you back cross any chem enough times, the end product is going to be dank.

It is my opinion that Choosing a strain so critical you almost have to decide for yourself.

Things you must know when picking a Cannabis strain

1) Average height of mature pant Indoor/outdoor
2) THC/CBD content
3) Average yield Indoor/outdoor
4) Effects
5) % Sativa/Indica

I grow indoor and 2/3 of my patients have chronic pain. My #1 concern is THC/CBD content, I need high both. #2 Average yield Indoor, , #4 Average height of mature pant Indoor/outdoor and #5 % Sativa/Indica so I sound smart to buyers.

If your seed provider cannot get you this info, then you are buying from the wrong peeps
