L lcs Well-Known Member Nov 7, 2014 #2 Check out spectralux t5 ho bulbs comes in 6500k and 3000k. They are also 48 inch.
JoeyV Well-Known Member Dec 8, 2014 #3 As far as 48" T5s go, there are VHO bulbs and ballasts available. They put out 7200 lumen each, but they suck up 95 watts and, as I've read, get considerably hotter than T5 HO. They're not worth the additional cost in $$$ and heat, imho.
