Best UK broadband service to rural areas?

hello there,

i want to upgrade my broadband provider as i feel that my current one (BT) is lacking speed etc...

currently it's roughly 1-1.5 mb (sucks)

i use it mostly for downloading music, programs and xbox live etc...

i have been looking at opther providers, big names, good deals but none seem to cater well for my rural location.

is there any company you know of who can?

anything but Tiscaleeeeee there sooo shitttttttt

have you tryed virgin? they have a pretty good service..
20mb + phone is £35 a month

Hey Burlingo, I'm living in a very rural area and using orange broadband which is free with an orange contract phone, not sure what their offers are at the minute but mines a pretty good connection

yea, i wanted virgin. good speeds etc... but they said the best i can get is 0.0mb - 0.5mb WTF! I'm not that rural.

sounds cool, i shall check it out. see what they have to offer.

Just went onto the BT website to see what "upgrades" were available.

i tried it out and they say my max speed would be a massive

0.25 Mbs!

what the hell.......
