Looking for a way to block out some ground floor windows. The are on the ground
floor. Biggest concern is that they look normal from the outside and not draw any
suspicion. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Buy some blinds... measure the windows inside width (inside trim),instead of mounting them on the outside wall.... Then cover the window with plywood or cardboard....

I found some cool halloween fabric at wal-mart that I made to look like a curtain. Then I put a stuffed animal scarecrow in the windowsill with a couple cardboard RIP tombstones. Sealed the scenery up with black plastic sheeting and voila... Halloween decorations AND a super secret disguise for my grow room.

Its only halloween 1 day a year.

I painted my bedroom windows with dark green paint when I live in an apartment, took 2 coats. Looked fine from the outside, but the sun would not wake me up everyday anymore :D

Oh come on! Like people don't leave their Christmas lights up months after the fact! Why no love for Halloween? I cry foul.

But seriously... if you put up a baby Jesus scene you could leave that bitch til Easter!

Generally find a window dressing that CAN be seen from outside (blinds, curtains, whatever) and then attach a solid piece of wood or drywall painted black behind it.

That way from a distance it looks normal and from up close you can only see black through whatever the dressing is.
