Best way to clone ?!

Im about to put my plants in to flower and i got a couple of 8" clones im tryna get off my plants im wondering the best/cheapest way to clone them my option are...

1. rockwool (obviously cheapest)

2. Daisy cloner (http://www.amazon.com/Daisy-Clone-8-from-Botanicare/dp/B001JL0BLM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1334857849&sr=8-2)

3. Bubble cloner (also cheap : http://www.ebay.com/itm/24-BUBBLE-TUBE-CLONING-SYSTEM-8-PLANT-CLONER-MACHINE-Double-Bubbles-/221003329036?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3374d32e0c)


someone help me out i need to know what to get by this weekend..id like to just stick them in rockwool but im wondering if itll give the same effect? Thanks...stay high

Personally I like rapid rooters better than rockwool. Rapid rooters plus dome and heat work better than a bubble cloner imo.

with tht rapid rooter plug its just like rockwool sep u put it right in the soil once the roots come out? can u just put rockwool right in soil too? its just rockwool is available with out ordering.

I take the 2"-4" cuttings and place them in the Neoprene sleeves and into the 2" netpots. No spraying, dipping or anything! Just stick them in the cloner and your done.

My cloner is homemade. I have a 100% success rate with this system. I use tap water with 150ml of Clonex clone solution although no rooting hormone is actually needed. It does root a little faster with the solution.

The cloner is running on the same timer I use for all of my Aero setups. 1 min on and 5 mins off.

The clone system is under a 24", 2-light, HO fluorescents.

I use EZ-Clone sprayers for everything. I run a 396 GPH pump for all the systems also.

Use an 18gal. Rubbermaid Ruffneck container for your clone unit. Everything else will leak! Trust me on this, I've tried them all.

1/2" PVC pipe is used for sprayer assembly. Use an 11/64" drill bit for the sprayers. Just screw the sprayers right into the PVC pipe.

thanks man, i just wanna know which one of those methods at the top wud be the best for the price..can i get away with rooting gel and just soaked rockwool..will i get the same grow time as a bubbler?

yep i dont know if u read it or not but cubes dome tray and any rooting gel or powder. last time i used a free sample gel called x or somthing like that and less than ten days explosive rooting oh yeah heating pad speeds things up. another good thing about this method if ur not ready to pot once they are rooted u can leave them in the tray minus pad and dome for a couple months and they will b fine . i dont recomend much longer than a month but u could if u had to just dont let them dry out

so thts what ill do i just orderd some organic rooting gel and 25 rockwool cubes shud be here by friday..then ill cut clones..and flower may 1st.

The best luck I've had is just MG soil... dip the clones in rooting hormone and put it in soil. No fuckin around with ph or anything. So far I'm at a 100% success rate with my clones

rapid rooters w/ a heat pad, 100% rate in less than a week for me with multiple strains, fastes was 4 days with roots exploding out of the medium, great stuff but its all in the heat pad and humdity

I've done the same, generally you can tell they root when they kind of droop for a couple days. Then you see them spark up with vigor, and look as if they have had the life kicked into them.

ya im gunna do rockwool and rooting powder..humidity dome..CFLs..i think thts it..whats the PH gta be at for clones?

I agree with the rapid rooters over rockwoll.. the other meh.. I use aero cloner and water, no dome, no mat, no magic just roots in 7 to 10.

Yea its like a growth explosion when they root! they shot up about an inch and bushed out after a day or 2 after rooting.

I've actually noticed lately the soil clones are rooting faster than the DWC I've done. (with and without lake water)
