Yeah keep your room Clean, but they will be back, they seem to always be back. Just be diligent and look for them everyday. First signs of them spray the garden. Summer is on the way and those lil mites are hungry.

Neem the shot out of the plants @ lights out (to avoid burning them) take all of the plants out of the room and set off a doktor doom bug bomb. It should kill any adults presentlly there, repeat this twice 4 days after doing it the first time so to make sure you get any of the hatched eggs since most chemicals will not hurt the eggs that are unhatched.
Also lice soap can kill the eggs if you want the pain of washing them all....

sounds good to me man. Make sure to go in a few days later and get the babies. thats the IMPORTANT/CRITICAL part.
Otherwise youll start the cycle all over again.

Clean everything w/amonia, then bleach, then Raid ant and roach killer. Shitcan or boil anything else that was in the room that you'd like to keep.

If Bleach and ammonia come into contact together in liquid form it makes MUSTARD GAS! use anything else for gods sake of a precaution.

Unless you favor the looks of some execution camps the jewish people were sent through.

Isn't the mix of ammonia and bleach the stuff that kills you with honestly deadly fumes?

Anyway if you want to be free of spider mites you don't need to clean a thing or worry about your house or yard or whatever. What you need to do is get a real professional insecicide like floramite sc.

example:
http://shop.ebay.com/floramite?_from=R40&_trksid=m38&_nkw=floramite&_naf=1

The people selling those 1 and 2 ounce containers are what makes it really possible for the rest of us who can't afford a $200plus dollar quart of anything.

Floramite will end your problems guarateed. It's systemic and last a month ea treatment. No mites will survive period, eggs or not it gets them all.

Guess I should clarify, definately don't mix the two. Used separately it will kill any mold or other organic matter.

I find being direct in giving advice is best, better than someone coming along and not understanding to do something and screw it up to be pissed off @ ya.
(or worse and be dead from it)

and IMO strong bleach alone should kill any organic living thing.

peroxide is an awesome anti everything spray. it has a loose molecule in it that attacks any other molicules it touches and kills them. hints why it will eat your clothes off if it is strong enough. i use isopropal alcohal mixed with peroxide and diluted in a gallon of water i have no problems. it works great. there are other posts in RIU that explain how to mix peroxide for spraying
