GrizzSpitter Well-Known Member Feb 18, 2008 #2 Boil water with paper towels. Dump water out of pot. Wait for paper towels to cool off. Put seeds on damp, sterile paper towel and fold it so both sides of the seed are covered. Cover the bowl with tin foil. Wait three days and check for roots.

Earl Well-Known Member Feb 19, 2008 #4 Personally, I like these coco plugs, because they hold the seed tight, and maintain just the right amount of moisture for the sprout. Coco coir is also less likely to have pH problems than rockwool. .
