Best way to leach??

So I'm going into week 9 and everything is going great! I know I need to leach the last 2 weeks prior to harvest, but I have a question.

Does the water you leach with really matter? I've read some say regular and others say filtered. Anyone have any tips in the last 2 weeks as well?

hey dude, what i usually do is leach 2 weeks before harvest. just saturatare the soil very very well, don`t be shy on the ammount of water u use. And i would try to use the best quality of water possible, but you can use whatever water you`ve been useing with no problems. Anymore concerns please dont hesitate to ask, and good luck

Soil/soil-less organics growers usually just water regularly with plain distilled or RO water (possibly with molasses) for the last couple weeks. Although, molasses should really be tapered off a couple weeks prior to harvest due to abundance of minerals which could contribute to harshness.

Synthetics/hydroponics growers practice various pre-harvest methods/strategies for achieving the best taste and odor in the final product. Some flush with plain water (2-3x volume of container) or a mild nutrient solution a week or so before harvest. Some use other finishing products like Sweet or Bud Candy.
