Obviously we all know what HPS lights do to cameras with the distortion and lines, so I was just wondering how do you guys get around it? remove the plant from the grow area and photograph or is there a way to photograph them while in the grow room without getting those lines?
i never have issues taking pics under my hps but theres a thread on here about taking pics under HPS
on another note check your cam settings and see if theres a filter on there. might be able to filter out the yellow.
oh and those lines are caused by magnetic ballasts
i am pretty sure that an electronic ballast cranks a lot more light out of the same bulb as a magnetic one
and then the only issue is the really terrible colour rendering of hps light
oh, another solution is that most cameras worth a shit have a white balance setting where you point it at your scene and it adjusts the colour temperature accordingly
check for that. it's never perfect but it does a better job than guessing
well i just got a canon t2i and just put a tinted filter on the lens works good for me nothing significant enough yet to nothing in flower to post but it works...
