Best ways to save fan leaves

Hi. I am just curious how to preserve fan leaves. I notice they dry out if they are not in a bag, and they go bad if they are in a bag. Freezing doesn't seem like a good idea. How can I save fan leaves without ruining them? Thanks for your help.

Didn`t you ever do the fall wax paper leaf thing in the oven trick in kindergarden ?
I see what your getting at, but that's not going to keep the leave in the same condition is was when it was clipped. I just want it to be fresh and of moisture when I'm finally ready to use them.

how long do you want to store them and for what purpose, also are they female leaves?
I heard that saving your fan leaves for the curing process is the best thing you can do. When your done harvesting, the bud is always dryer, so after placing the fan leaves and the bud in a dark bag for a while, the bud can get its moisture back from the fresh fan leaves that have been saved from the female flowered plants. The best way to cure bud ever from what I understand and have been told. I just want to know the best way to save the leaves.

actually after harvest the bud is heavy and wet, curing in the bag is to draw moisture from the center of the bud after its been hang dryed on the outside, so to ''cure'' you bag it and check it, wet leaves would keep the moisture in the bag, not saying its not a good idea, but by the way youre asking its as if you cut them all off, if you left them on the plant then you would answer your own ? preserve them by not killing them, but since you did already and youre not worried about the trichomes on the leaves then i dont see why putting it in a wet paper towel in a seeled bag in the freezer wont work, just when you take it out, let it thaw before opening the bag, all the moisture should come back if its simply froze while it still has moisture.

just a quick thought also, when i trimmed some of my smaller leaves i let them drop into an empty seedling dome tray, i put the cover on it and stuck it under the bed, (forgot about it for a couple weeks) pulled it out and all the leaves looked as if i just cut them so you could try that, not sure how long theyll last, but these ones were over 3 weeks when i threw em away and looked perfect, even a nice smell.

Wrong, the best way to cure is by not letting your buds get too dry. the fan leaf trick is if you cured improperly, and your buds are too dry

Storing Fan Leaves ? I am not one to keep garbage , but one mans garbage is another mans treasure .. I do know some people who do juice with fresh leaves and they store them like most other greens .. Bagged and into the fridge , I have seen them last weeks this way by adding a small moistened paper towel to the container or bag . But do allow for some air exchange if you intend to keep longer than a day ..

For 90% of people, doing that will simply produce a giant chunk of mold. What are you rich? Got a perfect enviroment under your bed... must have a really expensive heating and cooling system in your house. :P

The BEST way to say trim is fresh frozen. Some people just let the leaves dry and keep them wherever, but this will give you excess plant matter in your hash.

LOL, thats what i expected too, not sure, no im not rich, i live in an average house, it is winter cold snow where im at, but like i said i didnt mean to forget them and its a spare room bed where i was trimming one day just finished up and a knock at the door so i slid it under the bed and forgot about it, i needed the tray and looked everywhere for it then found it like i said, I didnt really expect someone to try this ridiculous thought, i just said it not knowing how or why it worked or if it would if someone was trying to do it.
