I have a hlg 550 v2. In my personal opion the tech is still not there i have done 3 or 4 grows with hlg 550 and every time my 600hps and 315 cmh out do that light.
This run i put the hlg under one white widow x big bud. In a 800x800mm tent. An the buds are half the size of my other grow.
Like someone else said leds seems to veg faster so from now on ill veg with the hlg 550 in my 800x800 tent an flower with something else.
In saying this ive seen other ppl have success maybe im just a shit grower but for the better part of 10 yrs ive grown with hps last 4 to 5 ive used cmh. But i like the look of hps bud best i dont use cmh by itself the buds just dont look appealing.
