Beto O'Rourke just did a bad thing yesterday by accusing the Israeli PM of being a racist and an obstacle to peace. (Really? Who knew?)

This might have been a result of that prick Netanyahu announcing on Saturday that he plans on annexing all of the land in the West Bank that has settlements on it, even ones deemed illegal by Israel's Supreme Court if he is re-elected.

Haaretz quoted Netanyahu as telling Channel 12 News Saturday, "A Palestinian state will endanger our existence and I withstood huge pressure over the past eight years. No prime minister has withstood such pressure. We must control our destiny."
Netanyahu went on to say, "I will extend sovereignty but I don't distinguish between the settlement blocs and the isolated ones, because each settlement is Israeli and I will not hand it over to Palestinian sovereignty."

Speaking in Iowa as he campaigns for the Democratic nomination for president, O'Rourke said the US-Israeli relationship was among the most important "on the planet" and singled out Netanyahu
.
"That relationship, if it is to be successful, must transcend partisanship (never happen) in the United States, and it must be able to transcend a prime minister who is racist, as he warns about Arabs coming to the polls, who wants to defy any prospect for peace as he threatens to annex the West Bank, and who has sided with a far-right, racist party in order to maintain his hold on power," O'Rourke said.

O'Rourke continued, saying he did not believe Netanyahu "represents the true will of the Israeli people" (oh yea, then why vote for him time after time?) or the "best interests" of the relationship between the US and Israel. He went on to endorse a two-state solution to achieve peace between Israel and the Palestinians.(fat chance)

So we will see tomorrow if the voters in Israel vote for Netanyahu , again, supporting his policies that state there shouldn't be a Palestine, and never will be one as long as he is PM.

As far as Beto is concerned, he fucked himself as it will be inevitable that he probably will be accused of being anti-Semitic, as seemingly any criticism of Israel or it's policies warrants that designation.

So what do you think?

Will Netanyahu, with his policies of repression and oppression be supported by the Israeli populace?

I think so.

Beto does not strike me as being ready to pull off a successful run for the nomination. But I have friends in El Paso that grew up with him and they report he is very genuine, a real good guy. So I hope he sticks around and stops apologizing for every little thing that some snowflake takes offense at.

If he is upsetting right wing radical snowflakes ...so be it !

Listen to Trump call a spade a spade, in his own words

US President Donald Trump told a group of American Jews that Benjamin Netanyahu was “your prime minister” Saturday, appearing to conflate Jews and Israelis.

“I stood with your prime minister at the White House to recognize Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights,” Trump told a meeting of the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas Saturday, referring to Netanyahu, who is the prime minister of Israel.

Their Prime Minister?

I thought he was speaking to American citizens.

Freudian slip?

This photo tells me all I have to know about Netanyahu, and that is that a friend of my enemy, is my enemy.

Both of those blood suckers should die, and do Humanity a favor.

You’ve been crying for years because people call you racist

It sounds like Netanyahu's "policies of repression and oppression" are supported by the majority of Israeli voters. From this report by NPR this morning, it seems most Israel voters are to the right of Netanyahu.

It's a really close race. There's a former military general trying to beat him, and he's a centrist. But the polls are showing that most Israelis are going to be voting for right-wing parties, and that would give Netanyahu the best chance of forming a coalition and winning. I was speaking to some voters last night in the market, some young voters, who said, well, Netanyahu's done a good job. We're just sick of him after 10 years. And they are going to be voting for candidates even further to the right of him.

According to the same NPR article, Israeli's shift to the right has ominous fascist overtones:

Well, attitudes toward democracy have changed a lot here. Israel has always considered itself both Jewish and democratic. But Netanyahu's government has been prioritizing Israel's Jewish character. Trust in the Supreme Court has dropped. A lot of Israelis are seeing the court as too left-wing. And calling someone a leftist here is a curse word, almost.

Netanyahu has also embraced many nationalist populist leaders around the world. You might call a lot of them bordering on authoritarian. But a lot of Israelis will say, you know, Israel has had a great 10 years. Unemployment is down, the economy's doing well. And yet, society has really changed. And I think Yedidia Stern from The Israel Democracy Institute - I spoke with him, and he summed this up really well.

You know what is really funny?

And that is that the Israeli's are going re-elect Netanyahu, knowing he's about to be indicted for accepting bribes, and probably will be convicted, and also like the Americans they don't seem to give a fuck.

Assholes, they deserve him

The Palestinians don't.

I think that Israel would change their tune about expanding territory if the US threatened to support UN sanctions if they do. A pugnacious fascist Israel is real threat to world peace.

The US Congress and Trump will never sanction or even admonish Israel, and the Israelis know it.
In fact we reward them and continue to do their bidding such as canceling the Iranian nuclear accord, moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem accepting the annexation of the Golan, and blocking any attempt by the UN's Security Council to pressure Israel to stop the expansion of settlements in the West Bank.
Israel does what they want, when they want, with the backing of the US, and the Americans scratch their heads and wonder why the US is hated in the Middle East.
It's very simple actually, and that is our unmitigated support of Israel's crimes against Humanity.

Yep, that's the way things are today. Support for Israel is dropping in the Democratic Party.

Vote Republicans out.

Just an update.
At 6 pm EST the election is a dead heat.
Oh well, I'm betting on Netanyahu.
The Israeli's love war (as long as they got the USA covering their asses)
