Better Clone Leaf Trim Technique

I wanted to reduce the leaf surface area to reduce the transpiration for the benefit of the clones, but wanted to do it with a little less damage and stress to the branch. It seemed to make much more sense to trim every other blade, than to lop off half of every one of them, leaving a nice open wound on the widest part of the leaf on an organism that has already survived a great deal of stress.

What do you guys think?

you know I hardly ever cut the 45 degree angel or cut the leafs I just use a razor cut the branch off the plant and stick direct into the cloner,

That i might have to try, I always mangle my clones and i loose a lot. Bet less cutting = less stress = better clone. Seems like it would anyway, but i dont know anything about no transpiration. I'm no green thumb.
