Between Week 5 and 7 flowering and plants seem stunted, PICS

These thing blew up from june 28 to the end of july. ever since the end of july, it SEEMS like the buds aren't getting bigger.

JUST added a couple CFL's to the sides two days ago.

using a 150w HPS for flowering.

using technaflora recipe for sucess, and adding snowstorm ultra with waterings. usually add nutes once a week.

i hope i am not over-reacting, or getting worried, but, these are technically near the end, and i feel like they should have 'filled out' more. also as you can see, some leaves look slightly sick.

these pics were taken august 8th. since, the hairs are starting to turn maybe 25% orange. you can check some info from my journal here too https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/354083-white-widow-x-haze-x.html#post4465239

...brighter lights = bigger buds.
...if your going to continue with your 150w HPS, I'd get it as close as possibe without burning your plant foilage. Personally, I'd forget about flowering w/ cfl's all the way around.

lack of light? lack of airflow?
lets say, there are 4 plants, growing in a 12 foot by 12 foot room. There is a fan, and the air is constantly exchanged. When these were taken, there was 16,000 lumens HPS.

The light is between ~12 inches away. I keep it there because it doesn't have a broad coverage area, so to hit all 4 colas nicely, ~12 inches is ideal.

I meant, i ADDED in addition to the HPS, some CFL's.

also starting to use humboldt's GRAVITY soon, and you HAVE to raise the lights up if using HPS, so, i'm just going to leave them as is, assuming i could've dropped them below 12"

They are 42w CFL's, rated for 2700 lumens, and there are two. So that bumps the total lumens up to ~22,000. (light is BRAND new)

maybe what i am asking is, "Is there anything wrong with these?" or "Is this all i am going to get out of a 150w HPS" and finally "If this is all the buds will grow, do i just have to sit back and wait for the tric's and hairs to mature?"

They look perfectly healthy to me. The lower leaves will always start dying and looking shitty first, thats normal.

Honestly, i think anything under 600 watts for the flower cycle is a waste of time. You're never going to get big buds with anything less.

You need better light dispersion. Your lights just coming down from the top and hitting the carpet. To make full potential of your lighting put it in corner and or surround with white or reflective material.

agreed. this is the model. going up next time.

Not looking for huge buds, just looking for what i think is "full" size buds. To me, on this, the buds look thin.

I do agree with this. Next time around i am thinking a bright white sheet for the floor. Then i am going to just use some large pieces of cardboard and paint them glossy white.

Still a nice plant man.
actually theres 4 plants...

So overall no one sees anything wrong? Any ideas how long i have? Should the leaves start yellowing?
