I wouldn't profile you as that person at all, but not realizing I was joking did give me a chuckle. Anyone who thinks AO (as I like to call it) is an actual reality show is an idiot, but it is entertaining. I'm from Appalachia and have sowed hundreds of ginseng seeds. I've never had to dig a moat and fill it with burning gasoline to keep anyone off of my property though.

Sorry man for real, I was born and grew up in ny and now reside in the mtns for years. Unless you've been here don't judge. Meth,h,are all new to this area where you can't get a prescription for a painkiller anymore and people are turning to h. Thats a fact. People here aren't use to what's going on around here. No normal person wants to shoot or bat someone out. I don't anyway,but I did buy a pistol last month. It's sad

Well said. The sss was a joke. The last thing I would want to do is hurt someone. I grow in the woods. The way I look at it, if I don't do a good enough job of concealment, they might get gone. That's on me. I wouldn't like it, but I'm not really going to shoot someone over a few ounces of weed.
There is a lot of meth down here too. We had stuff stolen from our old (empty) houses after Hurricane Micheal, but I haven't lost plants to thieves in a long time.
