Thanks. I read above that vaccum purge is only worth it for large batches. I usually only get about 300ml of bho after the warm waterbath. And then I mix in a ratio of 2-1 alcohol (only 151) then once those are mixed and stirred until there are no bubbles, I am left with about 300ml of the "new" mixture. Then I winterize for about only 12hrs, and double boil out the rest of the alcohol, leaving an amber/clear shatter when scraped. And it's not bad, but I was looking for tips on how to improve quality/quantity with the low-tech setup. I.E. Would freezing or heating the alcohol before adding to bho help? Should I freeze my buds before I pack the tube and so on... I have a couple hundred bucks invested, but don't want to keep buying equipment to make 4-5 grams of shatter a week. I live in an illegal state, otherwise I'd probably buy my shatter from a pro. And because I live in an illegal state I'm weary of ordering a bunch of manufacturing tools online. He'll I'm not sure if I should order 191 alcohol online, since I'm already breaking the archaic laws of the land where I reside, I don't need to pile on the risk. I got my recipe from youtube, and it works well. But always looking to improve, without upgrading set-up. Again any tips or tricks to low-tech high yield results would be greatly appreciated.
