BHO Vodka Soda?

I've got access to a carbonating machine and was thinking about whether or not BHO dissolved into vodka would get you medicated or would I need to heat up to deboxycarbolate it? I'm leaning towards no since GDT is made by boiling alcohol at 150F or so and drinking that gets you pretty medicated. The BHO is purged over 130F for about 12 hours so I figure this should be good enough to deboxy it? what do you guys think. got a gram of shatter in about 4 cups of vodka dissolving right now, then adding extract flavor (orange) and gonna carbonate it.

well if your already doing it and the process has already started, i would restate the question to you... did it work? let us know that's an awesome idea.. vanilla vodka and orange flavor.. orange creamsickle much?

yes you need to decarb it to get "high" and no the temps you mentioned are not high enough. i believe 170 is when it starts to decarb. should have asked first then proceeded. you will get drunk though.

and if you decarb it in the alchol it will evap all the booze......so your only option is to decarb it in the booze evap it all then add fresh booze.

I boiled the vodka for 30 mins at 200F, going to mix it with orange juice and carbonate that mix. we'll see what happens...

Damn that’s a good idea , I’m going to have to call my daughter , she wanted to give me a carbonation unit they bought but I had told her I had no use for it . I would recommend that you keep it down to only 2 grams and no more than a half gallon of Vodka at a setting . Let us know the results the day after .

i cleaned my bubble bags with Everclear, than we drank it. shit was crazy, take a shot and you feel the alcohol go in to your blood, and it carrys all that THC with it. 1 shot you are fucked up, 2 shots you laugh and giigle than sleep. 3 shots the blood vessles in your eyes expold from the thc reidue after the alcohol evaperated in your blood vessles

i would like to see the hombrewers making some good humboldt hemp ale--here in Michigan

....the quickie "bong-wash-w-alcohol" is nice in a pinch tho-wen ur having unexpected friends over at the last minute-

I used pretty cheap vodka (mohawk) which may explain why the bho never fully dissolved. there is still a good size chunk (probably about .7-.8 grams worth) just sitting at the bottom of the container. when you shake it up the blob breaks up into hundred of little bho balls in the concoction. I drank about 1.5 cups of the stuff and didn't feel it much, kinda made me constipated but my housemate tried it and he said it got him very medicated so I guess everyone takes it differently. You feel the buzz as fast as you feel a alcohol buzz. The BHO taste is defintely there but it is faint, cut with orange juice I could barely taste it. The carbonation helps too I think to keep your mind distracted from the rather revolting taste that bho has when eaten. All-in-all seems a worthy endeavor - it works bottom line.

I haven't brewed in a while but I have a lot of experience. I've always believed that you could get some cannabis goodness into a beer if you used buds to dry-hop.

A higher alcohol beer would work better for this...

guess u never heard of 'humboldt hemp' ale....?:leaf:

i used to know some kidz worked there and they would let them bring home 1gl a niteof the "unpasterized" stuff-

YES u can make some killer hemp home brew ....
look up the recipes I'm not a brewer....but I hope to see some here in pur Michigan-:joint:

Its not dissolving because you're not using high enough proof alcohol. Not sure what proof Mohawk is but if its probably 80 proof which is only 40% alcohol, even if its 100 proof its only 50% alcohol. If you try this again use Everclear or Bacardi 151, they are both about 75% alcohol in Michigan.
