Joe is gonna be hands off, those charges in the pipeline by Trump's own appointees be prosecuted by the local district attorney. This includes the crimes that Michael Cohen did time for, they have lot's of evidence besides Cohen, they have documents and his bean counter. The crimes he committed while president will be investigated by a presidential crimes commission and other crimes by other bodies. The FBI will be able to tell you when Donald had a shit in the last 3 decades, how long he sat and how many sheets of toilet paper he used.

You do more time for destroying evidence and government records than anything else and if you are a government official, your cellphone and laptop are a government documents, whatever you did government business on, your own or theirs..

The people fighting to preserve and hide those documents are a lot smarter than the people trying to destroy them. All important systems are backed up and imaged regularly and backups are stored off sight. Most of these moron appointees probably don't even know about system back ups. Intelligence professionals set traps, alarms and took other means to preserve or index documents. It hardly matters, they have plenty to put them all away, it's more so they can get a clear and complete picture of what happened.
