Bidens Cabinet Choices

No need to use trump rhetoric.

Yes people should be locked up. No need to gloat but the Democrats need to take the high road and not sensationalize. If people committed a crime then prosecute them. No need to make it front and center.

A Tar and Feather beginning won''t help Biden repair the damage trump has done to America and it's image across the world.

No chants of "Lock Them Up". We have an adult at the helm. Let's act like it.

Peace and good fortune to my fellow Americans. This is a good day. Lets focus on that for now. We've all had fun for awhile but we need to remember that almost half of America voted for trump. They are not in a happy place right now and most are decent people. No need for excessive gloating for more than a day. I'm gloating myself right now but tomorrow I won't. People deserve to celebrate but they shouldn't drag it out. The country is pretty shattered right now. We all need to put it back together and lose any animosity towards those that we disagree with.

I'm very happy that Biden defeated trump but I'm not naive enough to think that this changes the tone in America. The best way for Democrats to move the country forward is to embrace and console those that were on the losing side. The "Us Against Them" mindset needs to go. Time to get together and focus on the real issues we need to focus on.

There is common ground. Find it. Fighting amongst ourselves is exactly what foreign governments want. If you're a Biden supporter and want to celebrate then get it done and let it go ASAP. Because without the other 70 million people that voted for trump we're not going to be able to get anything done.

There shouldn't be any turns. But Bernie stepped up to the plate. Not 100%. But he did help Joe out. But I think he's best right where he is.

I was almost thinking Energy Secretary but then I remembered how Obama had Nuclear Physicists so I think Bernie is underqualified for that position. Someone experienced with energy should hold that position.

I remember when trump made Rick Perry Energy Secretary. It was a complete joke. I hope Biden doesn't fall to political interference and appoint people unqualified for the position which is a critical position if you want to move green energy forward.

I'd bring Chuck Hagel Back as Secretary of Defense. He might be a Republican but he's 100% American. He served this country.

Cares about sending troops into harms way.

Bipartisan promoted by both Hagel and Biden.

No, fuck Bernie Sanders, he's too old, Bernie needs to retire, he does not "deserve" anything. He's already made his life in politics and now it's time to quit, relax and spend time with the grandkids.

I would like to see younger (30-50 year old) faces in this administration. It is time for government to look like America, not 60-90 year old lifelong politicians

I'd like to see Republicans like Chuck Hagel, Charlie Dent, and Jeff Flake included in some role going forward. There is nothing wrong with decent moderate Republicans. They're as patriotic and American as the rest of us. In fact Mitt Romney would be a great choice for Ambassador to the UN. Plus that would open up a Senate seat that the Democrats could have a shot at taking. Pilfer as many Republican Senators as they can and then try and flip those seats. If they accept and resign from their Senate seat you can always fire them later. There are 21 Republican Senate seats up for reelection in 2022. Marco Rubio is likely the easiest Democratic pickoff in 2022 if he gets some role. Transportation Secretary or some other lower level cabinet post. But there are other's.

Play things right and the Senate goes Democratic majority. Then they can stack the Supreme Court and get all their nominees through.

Many people think this is over but it's actually just starting. How Biden forms his government is going to be instrumental in future Democratic gains across the country. Also, the Democrats need to focus on retaking State Governments across the country which they can do if they get busy starting today. It's going to be a battle but a battle that can be won. The long entrenched Republican strongholds are prime to start falling like domino's.

She knows everything that is going to drop in the state of New York, and can step in on day 1 to rectify anything that Barr has done to stop people from getting justice applied to them.

And a highly qualified muslim woman for Secretary of State. I am sorry if that sounds racist/religious, but I do not feel like anyone else can discuss the issues needed in a region we have been involved in for far too long. And it is time we give an example of how we represent the people in those nations too in a very high profile manner. In my life I know some, but I don't actually know many in politics outside of Omar, but we need deep experience in policy too at the moment but who knows, maybe she is a perfect example.

Americans need to witness someone like her at work on a national/global stage as well.
