ya'll are dumb. No, a 26 watt doesn't put out more heat. Yes it is hotter to the touch (temperature), but when it comes down to it the 65w puts out more heat (energy). In terms of growing the 65w will heat up your room more than the 26 watter.

So when i went to check my plant with that new light it had already blew out i guess took it back it home depot got my money back. its a TCPI light would have been great but just think im gonna get a 105w CFL off 1000bulbs.com
