HASH IS DONE!
I just had four friends over and the five of us all got completely zooted off of about 2/3 of a bowl (roughly 0.4 grams) and it looks, smells and tastes fantastic. It has a really nice, light color to it kind of like chocolate milk and smells like citrus fruit (probably from the Big Bang) and tastes like a combination of flowers and lemon. Two of the people here both told me it was the best hash they ever had.
Here is how I made it:
Pic 1 - my box of trim. Half Big Bang and half White Widow.
Pic 2 - five gallon bucket filled about 75% with cold water.
Pic 3 - half of my trim (I did two buckets the exact same way) in the bucket with the water.
Pic 4 - topped off the bucket of water and trim with about three trays of ice.
Pic 5 - a shot of my power drill.
Pic 6 - a shot of the special mixing bit that I used to mix the bucket with for ten minutes.
Pic 7 - a picture of a bucket after I drained all the leaves and plant matter out of the bucket I mixed in and drained into this fresh one.
Pic 8 - a shot of the bucket after I let it settle for four hours and then siphoned it down to half an inch before where the hash was. You can sort of see it forming a ring at the bottom.
Pic 9 - a shot of the glass jar about two minutes after I poured the remaining contents of both buckets into them You can see the hash just starting to settle at the bottom.
Pic 10 - the same jar after I let it settle for two hours. You can really see the hash at the bottom of the jar now.
Pic 11 - after siphoning the excess water off the top of the jar and using a turkey baster to get it just right I poured the hash into a bowl with two sheets of wax paper.
Pic 12 - I let the bowl sit underneath a 400 watt HPS light for eight hours and then let it settle and air dry for another sixteen hours and this was the final product after breaking it up.
Pic 13 - anyone wanna smoke some hash? I got about 18 grams or so in the end. I couldn't be happier for my first time making hash!
