Big Bang + The Church Grow

We have another The Church going and it must be a trait in this strain, as it has gone like the poorly one of the church - yellow leaves, turned up, looking burnt - ANY IDEAS WHY????? or is it genes?????????

I've got 4 Churches (week 6) right now, and have not encountered any type of burning/turning up of the leaves. How often are you feeding with nutrients? How many waterings in between? Did you ramp up your doses (starting from 1/4 workinup to a full dose)? Going to quickly to a full strength solution can really burn your plants, and not giving a proper flush ever 2-3 weeks can cause salt build up which will cause nutrient lock out.

i want some damn church seeds where'd you get them? for those who dont know Church is totally mold resistant strain

i got some from the attitude seed place but the seedbank they stock them from is greenhouse seed co. Unfortunately theres been a release from greenhouse and also many reports from people that the seeds have a low germination rate. I got lucky and 4 of 5 have germed so far, but another guy got shafted and only 2 of his 5 germed, which is a bummer for how much they charge people for feminized.

I had 5 for 5 germination and ordered right after GH sent out the recall announcement. I've got 4 plants, 1 I gave to a friend (the runt). I got mine from the Doctor of course .

Mine all germinated OK. However i will describe exactly what has happened on both occasions with The Church. Not Topped or trained left to grow upright. Around day 38 yellowing of the leaf tips....goes all the way up and down the plant, leaves are golden no green left in them, bud hairs go brown almost like sum1 has got a blow torch and brushed over them. I just cannot get my head around it, the other one is fine and has been given same nutes etc as other......

the church feminized is my next grow i might do it now it my room will allow it idk yet. great buds bra.

oh go to attitude seeds to get da church or greenhouse seeds idk if dey got a site but dats da breeder. real cheap fem seeds too like 39.00.

im on my forth church grow at the moment, have grown 33 in total over the years from seed and several clones, iv also grown some of the other greenhouse strains, big bang, w/widow, w/rhino and himalayan gold, and iv currently got 3 of their new NL#5xhaze mist and 3big buddha cheese two weeks old under 2x125w blue envirolite, considering doing a journal?? the himalaya gold was fuckin excellent got a heads up from a pal about them not to veg for too long, so i did 18/6 for just 3wks from sprout then hit em with 12/12 at 6" tall, the fuckers finished at 1.7metres awesome yeild, 1 extra nice plant gave me 7 n half oz dry! Had to tie them down at week 7 of 12/12 to stop em growing into the lamp(B4 i got my cooltube). The church is a lovely plant, iv noticed 3 very different phenotypes, 1 very leggy and tall with few leaves and indica type broad leaves, and two shorter squat phenos both very bushy and leafy, 1 with broader leaves like the taller pheno and the other with long very narrow bladed sativa type leaves, so if u want an even uniform canopy id suggest growing them from clones, iv found them to be very fussy feeders, they get very N hungry from about 4wks old and remain N hungry most the way thru bloom but burn very easy with too much P & K, dont know yr feeding schedule but this may explain some of yr probs? Again if u wana feed all yr plants from the same water can with the same nute strength then use clones or be prepared to mix up several different water cans to cater to each seed grown plant, iv yet to grow a church that finishes in 9wks, 11 full weeks i leave mine for. Only got 3out of 5 germ this batch, normally get 100% with all greenhouse, strains, have noticed on their site about a dodgy batch and mine were bought just after that batch went out. damn 7 1/2 dry how tall was it when it was in flower bra cause you said you pt em in at 6in. so i wanna say they hit like 12-14in. i dont know meters. I'm really considering growin da church so any input is nice londoner.

nevermind it's 5'6 ya planted stretched big time is that a trait of da church?

nah the church doesnt stretch that much, not as much as the h/gold anyway, the internodal length of the shorter two phenotypes is typically about 1.5inches, real tight, but around 3inches on the taller pheno, these ones im growing now i flowered at only 5weeks old they were 14inches give or take a bit, now they are 3'8"smallest 4'tallest. Got three of the leggy pheno's this time, id normally give em 6or7 wks of 18/6 but wanted to see how they do with a bit less. Yeah god damn, 7 1/2 is mad. I think you are right definetly a fussy feeder, must have been nute burn badly, but when i flushed her didnt get any better??????? Using Iguana Juie - Bloom, must be burning.....

iguana dat a good nute i'd love to use dat on an all organic grow. It's gonna be like a week befo u see major change. But best believe ya plant thanked you fo dat flush bra.

yea that 7 1/2 oz was from a himalayan gold not a church, i did say that didnt i? Lol. They was flowered so young they ended up like big rocket shaped plants massive nugs bottom to top! My seedbank has been out of stock of them for a while but i wana do them again. What is the npk ratio of that iguana juice grow and bloom mate? Ive seen it in the growshop and like the look of it but its a bit pricey, i use good old bio-bizz grow and bloom with topmax and a little bio-heaven. Just had to replace my carbon filter coz my church are starting to stink up the place, my old filter couldnt cut it anymore lol

bloom 4-3-6 grow 3-1-3 it cost just as much as sensi grow n bloom so i might get it. U usin it right?
