Ahh I see, but how do we know that the fact its all compacting would not change our Laws in physics, such as mess up the planets orbits.. thus still killing us instantly *if* somethings we diddnt expect to happen.. Remember, it works cause its expanding, who knows how it would work when contracting..
Well since the force is still stronger than gravity, it would take the universe the same 14 billion years to completely collapse if it stopped today and began its contraction. It would be cool though.
