Big Bud- Is it right for me?

I am going to be moving into an apartment within the next few weeks. This gives me my first chance at growing. I am interested in Big Bud because it does not grow very tall and the yield is great. I have also heard it is good for beginners. Now this is what I ask you, should I bug the Big Bud and go with that, or are there other strains that are better suited for me? I enjoy a long lasting high and most hybrid mixtures. My favorite strain to have smoked yet was huckleberry, a Marc emery product.

Big Bud is an excellent plant for beginners. Personally, I would recommend going with this strain for a little bit, and then when you have a few grows under your belt and you know what you are doing try some White Widow or some other sativa dominant strain. The only thing you should watch out for (this does kind of depend on the conditions of your plant) the weight of the cola which can sometimes get too large for your stem to handle and may possibly snap due to pressure. But, this only happens in rare occasions. Anyway, good luck on your first grow.
