Big Bud Journal 1600watts 8x8 tent

Hello technically this is my second journal but I havn't spent very much time on this site so Im still learning.
I've been growing for a few years with 1000watt in a 3x3 tent but I recently upgraded to 1600watt and a 8x8 tent
I'm growing Big Bud from Ministry of Cannabis, ive had this strain for a few years and its ok, I have some sour ak sprouting right now so hopefully it will be really good genetics but we'll see

Im growing in soil, with 2 gallon bags
I have 1 3x3 flood tray and 1 4x4 tray
I'm putting 16 plants under each / all clones
1 1000watt hps 1 600 watt hps
6inch inline fan for the lights, 2 - 4inch inline fans sucking carbon filters for exaust
1 8000 btu window ac outside of tent

So far Ive takin all my clones and they have been veging in solo cups for 1 week

Good setup! It looks like you got everything covered.

This isnt going to be the most interesting journal cause I'm pretty technology lazy, I'll try to post some pic and info every couple weeks though

So nothing to interesting to report, almost 3 weeks vegging in 2 gallon bags, watering every 3-4 days, ph6.5ish, lil bit of Cal Mag the last watering, I will introduce botanicare veg nutes next watering right before 12/12.
This is actually the first time Ive vegged this long, for a long while I was only vegging for bout a week n half, and I was always wondering why my yield was so low with such good everything else, it was because I was forcing lil babies to have sex, in the past I had a gumbolt strain that only needed a week n a half of veg and it bloom to high heavy heavens, great yeilds and then i lost the strain after stopping growing for a couple years and I ordered Big Bud and White Widow for ministry of Cannabais blah blah blah Now I only have big bud n im just starting to get the hang of it I think.

One concern I do have and always have had is the leaves start to lose pigment and turn yellow early in veg almost every grow, I know normally thats a nitrogen deficiency but I think it might just be the genetics because the harvest day is 60 days or less, its not bad yellow just a lil, never had this problem with other strains

anyways her some pix, the last one is 4 new moms vegging and 2 little Sour AK germs trying to survive, i fucking suck at starting plants from seed or sumtin cause I can germinate it perfect in a starter plug and it looks healthy then I transfer it to a cup and it dies. I have 2 more seeds to get my shit together..lol any knowledgable suggestions would be Shweet!

W wait to transfer till roots cover the entire plug... The only reason those chitlins should suffer is from shock. Watch the temp of your nute water also.... A high humidity chamber would be great also. Check out my journal! We have alot in commen!

Thanks, yea pretty much thats exactly right, if they had a stable root system when I transfered they would be fine, i did premature transfer. but im pretty sure I left them in the cloning tray and dome for about 2 weeks after I transfered from germinating, so I thought they were ready, i was a lil careless, i have 2 more female seeds Sour Diesel x AK47 from g13 labs and Im going to nurture these babys, theres no way Im losing this strain.
A few days ago I went ahead and took the plugs back out of the solo cups and put them back in tray and dome just to see if they are salvagable, they never did developi any new roots in the solo cups after about week n half.lol

lookin good man, looks really nice. What manufacturer makes your tent..... ive been searching for a solid 8x8 (thats all the space i can use) and Growlab is the only company that seems to make one worthwhile....im gonna stuff 4 1000's in it.......my prob is gonna be heat for sure....looks good man
