lol it is RIU isn't it? i don't think anyone can talk me into buying those bulbs they put on UFO's for that much money. HPS/MH or CFL's are much more affordable and from the pictures i've seen produce same amount of bud if not more.

p.s. what do you mean the hps you have can cause a fire? are they wrapped in gasoline dipped paper?

Mr Piff....give it up already. Do you see how many people ARE NOT on your side with this one? This isnt even your thread and you have, and continue to keep going on with this subject. Start your own thread about LED's and how good they are.

Big bud secrets....Healthy roots, good light, proper nutrients and maybe a flower booster. Those are the secrets for big buds.

Take a chill pill dont have a temper tantrum...and yea "good light" id say that fits under that subject lol...you wanted proof i gave you proof dont be all upset cause its proven that the lites get better and upgraded and out perform older technology lol w/e guy just kill that noise ya killin my high

that was a cool video. but when it comes down to LED'S being a big bud secret i'd disagree. are the lights in the video the 500$ ones? if so they only do 4 plants or w/e was in the video lol. 500$ in hps or especially CFL get you so much more potential.

And the most important component of all, patience. You have to let the plants do their thing. If you have all of the basics covered, then you have to relax and let them grow out to their potential.

Ok let me get this straight. Someone asked for help making better buds. One guys said molassass another said bloom boosters. The rest argued about lights wtf. Try to stay on task kids. To produce large weighty nugs get your nodes close together. To do that u need a good light, good roots and proper nutrition. I recomend 600w hps and go all Fox Farm. I neverf ad a problem with their stuff but to be honest never used ne else. So yes you need a better light. And FFS everyone who is a espected grower does not need to argue about LEDs. If you have ne intelligence you already know whats up.

OVERDRIVE by advanced nutrients, for week 5.5-7 on a 9 week schedule, gives one last growth burst, and makes the buds solid. molasses is ok too

I believed everything regarding light and nutes had been covered without knowing a bit more about what his setup is. The one big obstacle to the "big buds" is getting impatient and either over fertilizing, burning plants by getting lights too close/intense or cropping/cutting/harvesting early.

My formula is simple for 4 plants:

400 watts of MH for veg.
400 watts of HPS for flower.
Good starting soil (FFOF) and occasional ferts (Fox Farms again) if the plants show a need.
Time for the plants to develop.

make sure light is getting to all angles, use mylar, panda film white paint etc.

youll notice an instant increase when you are reflecting all theat light back to hte plant.
