Big Bud Vs AK47

I have read that AK47 is very stinky to grow indoors. Will Big Bud be any better? What sort of high will you get from each? Are they close to the same in potency? This is growing indoors hydro of course. What are some pro's and cons to growing each of these strains?

I can speak to the AK-47 but have never grown or tried Big bud. AK is stinky as hell to grow, but the high is really balanced it doesn't leave you couch locked, there is some body high and you remain pretty motivated to do things. It's pretty strong, short, and a good producer. It's really a very ideal indoor growing plant. I have some right now but it isn't as potent as the batch I smoked earlier in the summer. It's a smooth smoke.. not real harsh... but not any berry or fruit either. For such an up high it finishs relatively early around 8 weeks. it looks kind of gray and dark green splotched once it's cured at least the batches grown around here.

as far as potency the AK is far superior, same with the smell. Youll probably get more off the big bud given the correct growing conditions. Id say go with the AK, its easy to grow and one of the better highs around.

That does help, thank you! I had AK years back but it's been so long I forgot what the high was like. I have probably had Big Bud but haven't realized it, but for those who know for sure, I would love to hear more about it in comparison to AK. Thanks gj!

ststephen420, have you tried BigBud? I know it's cash crop so it's targeted by production growers and probably not as potent as AK..

yeah, grown them both. Big bud is more like some beasters kinda shit while the AK is for sure a nice headies stash.

Admittedly, I don't know for sure but from what I've read Big Bud is what you grow if you're trying to maximize your yield. It's a commercial strain with a good high but not a favourite of connoisseurs.

I bet beasters coated in trichomes would be delish.. maybe that is what big bud is.. beasters before it's tumbled for it's crystals.

It depends of that you want to growe for your own joy or for commercial aim.
Both produce good yield. BB is a little more. 1,2 grams / W.
AK-47 is a really nice strain. Strong as hell and it has a very strong odor. The growing of AK needs more courtesy.
BB's effect is softer and a cut shorter.
