Big Buddha Seeds: Cheesus!

Ok rolling into week 3 tomorrow I think... Flushing her today/tonight and putting back on at ec of 2 - 2.1 tomorrow. All pretty smooth really. Wish I had gotten some more mylar, theres still time this weekend so shall probably do just that or worse case move it up from below lol Anyway she is looking pretty good I think, she is drinking a res a day so I'm gonna have to buy more nutrients also. She certainly drinks a hell of a lot more than the reserva privada! lol

Anyway Im gonna have problem with smell for sure this shit is potent and hardly started yet. I got a 6" filter and extractor pulling a good 400m3 - anything else I can do? :S ona gel, deodorisers what work etc. Any advice from stealth growers much appreciated Something just to de door the corridors outside the room this is in - essentially stinking out the building lol.

The gels and sprays only cover the smell the carbon filter will do the job as long as you can maintain negitive pressure in the grow space the smell will dissapear in half an hour or so...

ta mate. Well Im running a passive intake. Cant remember the two grills I put in at the back size wise but it was calculated properly. My cab is self made from MDF which wasn't my finest call being as its expanded so there is a 1mm gap up one size but if I seal it I won't be able to open it lol I have some rubber strips to go around windows but too thick, can't open/close the cab easily. Dunno if some smell is leaking from there. Il create some sort of seal i can put on and remove or something when I need to get in there. But tbh my experience with tents with great big gaps in them over time didn't have any problem.... Hoping its no the infamous cheese stench what busted a lot of my mates in the UK lol also the reason i not grown the stuff in 5 years or so :S

So yer will address that as deffo got negative airflow. I guess door closed and sealed with some powered/automated air freshners in the hallway is the best bet.

looking good I'm flushing right now as well I'm not gonna make the Christmas harvest as I feel the need to fill the screen a bit more I used ona gel on my Diablo grow it will mask the smell somewhat I drilled holes in a pill bottle & put it on the outlet side of my exhaust fan & changed it daily the Diablo was a real stinky strain headband ( og kush-X-sour diesel) is gonna smell too

Cheers mate yer I done a bit of research on the ONA and think I'm deffo gonna get a few tubs to get me through this grow and harvest/drying if not this weekend then the following, kinda skint till payday now lol. My fan and scrubber deffo taking out MOST of it but small gaps and opening the cupboard 2 or 3 times a day just need that something to mask the hallways so people in the building don't clock on - skywalker was smelly but this things just pure pungent.

Carbon filter is a must in the last few weeks, grown cheesus twice she's a tasty little number especially if you get a sativa pheno

Yer I got a 5 inch S & P extractor and 6 inch Carbon Scrubber in an 80 x 80 x 180 cab running passive intake through a couple of vents calculated for optimum negative air pressure (Pinched from someone else to add lol), just finding the flat smelling a little bit as I approach the room with the cab in particular, probably smells lingering where I am opening the cab. So just looking for something to mask or kill any smells from that or what the scrubber does not get (possible air leaking for small gap in wood). Im also gonna need something during harvest/drying. I not had issue with smell before this early on which is kinda why I wanna deal with it now than ask for trouble 4 or 5 weeks down the road.

Nice to hear of another Cheesus fan, couldn't really find many journals on it.. I would say she is on the sativa side so woop

The buds on the sativa pheno are light and airy but the yield taste and strength is better imo I've found the same pheno in cheisel, blue cheese and even somas sogouda

Nice mate, cheers for the info! Im looking forward to how she does compared to a modern flashy strain (my last grow). The Cheesus I smoked back home in UK was insanely good, real connoisseur stuff but the strength to knock your socks off too lol I smoked Chiesel too which was also decent but a bit harsh - found the Cheesus more on the original UK cheese side of things and the mad bushy ness, leaves and smell reminds me of the cheese we all used to grow years ago.

Smoked Barneys Farm blue cheese and wasn't anything to get excited about. There LSD & Vanilla Kush though is awesome lol

Gaps are fine in ur cab but where you dont want gaps is around ur exhaust fan or where ur ducting exits ur grow area, completely seal that because a gap there will pull the smell out from in the grow area with the movement of air, also check ur ducting for holes i have gaps everywere n the filter kills it all, the only time my room smells is when i open the cab which i need to stop doing so much but its hard ha

hey mossy rocks is your pineapple chunk blowing up yet? I grew it when it first came out & as soon as I flipped they blew up had to remove my light hangars & wire the reflector strait to the ceiling I used a 600 hps back then she did everything well 25% thc isn't true though & mine was very much sativa I replaced it with sannies killing fields

Yea safe to say shes exploding right now growing around an inch a day for the last few days i still have around another foot of grow space after that im screwed ha but i will have to put my lights right to the top aswell if she stops streching in 6 to 10 inches and puts on some weight ill be real happy with her!

Dont have to bushyness of system hes guna pull big numbers id say but im using hans panel and cobs n the side with the cobs are exploding they are the real deal the middle with the jans panel is slacking ill be very happy with 200g but well see white hairs appearing everywere now

Cheers mate! I don't have any ducting filter goes straight into the fan with rubber seals. After I read this comment I checked around the filter flange and sure enough some air was leaking out. Just sealed it and it is taming it quick. Your a legend! Sometimes simple things!!! I can feel slightly less paranoid about stinking out the building and being fucking done by pigs now LOL

Im gonna grab some ONA after payday too just to stick in corridor just to be safe. When I harvest Im gonna need tubs of the stuff I think lol

Awesome mate Im gonna check in tonight after worky.

Bad news with me - my phone has completely fucked itself so no more pictures till probably the first week of next month when I can go buy a new smartphone I will keep updated though about to check on her now after sending a 2.1ec feed to 1.2 :S Buds are growing quick now now heading into week 4... I think IM gonna achieve the xmas mission.. I hope you boys can do the same

I had that pheno too I was expecting a 4th indica and ended up with a 7ft sativa pulled 8+ zips off her though

Yea she is streching so much getting worried i might have to put the filter outside and change the air to sucking to blowing to get a few extra inches i hope not tho its alot of work, she was 100% indica looking during veg but shes really streching now

Might have to do that with my grow now got 2 cheesedawg in an attic cube the tops are burnt to fuck it's a jungle in there lol

Yer I had to with the cheesus stretched like a mo fucker so had to move the filter above... This is prob why there was a leak doing it in a rush lol

On a note of the cheesus, first time in flower i see the ec rise slightly and ph drop to 5.2 so flushing her through tonight 50/50 low ppm water with mineral water for some calcium & mag... She quite a fussy one though with food cravings, then full gotta be on the ball really, not a plant or strain you can just cruise along with (or at least this one) - Lovely colour to her though so meh. Fussy thing lol
