So this girl is the tallest of my batch.(around 6 feet) The buds are plentiful and plump, but there are zero trichomes. -.- Just a ton of white pistils . I am growing others in the same environment; a mix of different strains (10 Plants total) because i used a mix of bag seeds. it is kind of chaotic because they're all maturing differently and at different rates. Next time I will buy the seeds online, one or two strains at a time.
Anyway, point is, I dont know anything about the strain other than shes definitely a sativa. Is there anything I can do at this point to increase trichome production in this girl ? is she lagging in production because she's bigger and using more energy ? Is it possible that because its a sativa its naturally apt to take longer to produce ? Am i even doing anything wrong other than being impatient? I have been flowering since june 16th (2016) . Kind of embarrassing but feedback would be appreciated! im a newb. Also, should I invest in a bloom booster?
ive run into some people oppose them completely and some that highly recommend.

Ive attatched some pictures.. one using flash, 2 without. Different colas, same plant.

Odd. Well you never know how they will turn out. I'm sure there will be some tricome production within the last few weeks before they are ready. If not.. it's worth giving it a try anyway. Do they have any sort of predominate smell ?

The first picture most definitely looks 100% sativa. the other 2 look like hybrids. Not 100% sure though.

as far as smell. still more of just an earthy smell.. nothing skunky like the others. im hoping something significant will happen within a couple of weeks.

Well the skinny leaves shown in the first pic are very sativa looking. Don't see em in the other two. You never know what it will end up like. I would like to see it when it's done personally. good luck man.

I wouldnt worry. Its looks to be quit a bit sativa. Pure sativas can take up to 12-16 weeks to flower. Some longer.

I have seen quite a few plants that didn't have trichs on the leaves, but if you look at the acctual bud,the meat of the flower ,you will see many trichs..... which I hope is the case for you.

And I agree, those look very sativa Dom.good luck

I'll send pictures later. But I have 2 exact same plants that are 4 weeks in flower. Everything has been done the exact same nothing different. They are white widow x big bud. 1 plant is doing awesome. Lots of trichomes. But my other one has absolutely no trichomes as well. It looks the same as yours basically. It's strange. I'd like to find the answer to this as well. They were both grown from seed and the plant that was actually bigger and healthier in the veg stage is the one not producing well.
