More pictures! What you see is the difference with the three plants. They all are same strain, same age, same everything. Funny.

Damn, those are nice looking plants. It looks like the others are starting to yellow now too? Right on schedule.
Thanks again, all thanks to that nice sun we had here for weeks! Now the weather is a little so-so. I wish i had a nice macro-shot camera over here so i can "get right in the buds!" like Urbangrower allways says..

I am amazed you don't mind the yellowing! I am probably very stubborn on this matter. :-) But i want them green! LOL..

My first grow was last summer. I was very worried when the leaves started yellowing. Now, not so much. But I agree - you want to keep them green as long as possible.

By the way i removed some huge fan leaves, for better airflow and sun...
Hah, I've thought of doing that myself. Most everyone will say to leave the fan leaves alone, tho. Something about the fan leaves absorbing the sun which provides the rest of the plant (buds) what they need. Either way, at this stage, they'll be just fine.

I thought about extra nutes but i feel that will be over the top with 2 weeks left? I think its a lack of micro nutes.. and Ph. Possibly? I don't realy know about the nutes, but for sure the Ph was on the high side (8.5)

Ow you got me worried there for a minute! :-) Oh well, i guess no probs, cannabis is very strong and flexible..

Can't wait! ;-)

I am amazed by the amount of side branches on these Big Devis. One plant has at least 6 side branches with lots of herb on it. I have seen a lot of pictures of the autoflowering kind here but allmost allways it is 1 tree like plant without side branches. Can somebody explain that? Is is geneticaly decided?

I will make some pics of these branches when it stops raining. :-(

I'm guessing it's genetics more than anything. But yours are getting a ton of sunlight too, which helps. Makes mine look like Little Devil.

I think it's fine to harvest autoflower plants just like normal plants with the 50/50 method. I plan on doing some autoflower plants in a grow box in a few months.

but Cali is normally the golden state, isn't it? Not much sun so far? Is that normal?
It took longer than usual to get sunny and warm in SoCal. But my plants are on a balcony, and there's a bottlebrush tree immediately to the East of it. So they don't get hit by full sunlight until around 11:30 or so. There are areas I could put them to receive more light, but they would be more visible.

What's the 50/50 method? Good going with your growbox, make pix when you have it!

Yeah, i see your point. I also don't like it when herb is in view. Makes me paranoid..

Okay, i am inspecting my plants now to see if the trichomes allready turn from white/clear to amber color. I don't see amber yet. Good though because the plants don't look 'done' yet.

I read https://www.rollitup.org/harvesting-curing/28072-harvest-time-tutorial-8.html almost completely and it's a great help. I have grown Cannabis in the past but never took it very serious on when to harvest. I remember that the buds where small, and def. did not look at the trichomes.. The effect and taste where not so fantastic either, the taste was flowery/musky and the effect was uplifting but with a paranoid edge (which was not so nice!). This (i think) was because of too early harvest. That's why i want to realy carefully look at the color change and the change of the looks of the buds. The buds that are indicated as 'done' on this forum all have inwards curled small leaves. My plants are not at that stage yet.

Luckily we get some more nice hot sunny days, so more energy for my plants!

The plants are on the eve of chopping. The buds have swollen pretty good since last week! The weather has stayed ok. No big rain periods so far. There was a thunderstorm last night though but right after that i quickly 'dried' the buds by shaking them vigorously (i think they are still dizzy.. hahaha). I have been 'flushing' them with Ph 6.5 pure water for a week, week and a half. Although i did not use anything else but some melassis mix, i still wanted to get rid of any nutes.

Anyway. I made some shots again of the buds. What is striking is that some buds took a little home sprint or something because they form these pencill like pokers, showing a bit its cross sativa strain type.

Anyone wants to input anything recommending the chopping time. I plan to chop one tomorrow. Anyone disagree totally?
