Big Difference in Bud Sizes 1 Month into Flowering?

Anyone know what strains they may be, or if these buds will get bigger? You can seeS5002667.jpg some of the pics show tons of hairs, but almost elongated buds, on the tallest plants. While the short, stalky plant has tight compressed buds.S5002668.jpgI have a grow journal and thread going that tells everything I am using and have been using up to this point. My super lemon haze takes 3 weeks to start showing buds maybe yours will explode after 5th week like my SLH does. They're definitely gals as far as i can see but when you said bagseed, 1 month into flowering and saw your pics I thought to my self not so good genetics
 
with bagseed god knows what you have for genetics, all the plants will probably bud differently. you should at least be able to tell if they're indica or sativa by growth patterns and leaf structure
 
Are they all from the same bag, or mixed? Either way, it's nothing to worry about, the bigger buds are likely on faster-finishing plants, while the others are likely more sativa-dominant. No biggie, they look fine. :)

Thanks guys. They are all from different bags. The smaller one is gonna be a biggun.......' main colas anyways. Just a bit paranoid I guess. As for the strains, they were all "one toke wonders".
 
They look like healthy plants the only thing they are dealing with is the lack of light which is causing them to stretch and take more time to flower. Other than that just hold on wait it out and they will grow................
 
Wow i'm suprised you got them that big and healthy with those lights in the first place, they have streeeeeeeched like crazy. Nice job but they need some 600w hps nowLOL What lights and how many you got? is the plant next to a window which gets the sun as well or something?

I have 8 43 watt cfls and a 70 hps and 4 t-5 43 watt flouresents. All enclosed with venting and fresh air. Thats it, plus some FF nutes. Gonna just finish with these, then for the next, im gonna get a 400watt hps.
 
Most bub will be loose and airy in that case from the looks of things but thats ok. 400watt hps sounds real good so next grow will be much better, these plants seem too tall for what you got for flowering, gona be intreseting should i say.

far from pheno's bud....

not nearly enough light, plants are too tall, should have lst'd and kept your veg time at like 2-3 weeks.....

my sincere advice if you dont have money for more lights would be to scrap all but the nicest plant and put all your lights on her, trust me, you will yield better with all those lights on the one plant than having them on all of them......
 
really cause bagseed can have different pheno's? I didn't read the whole thread just the first few but you probably know way more than me anyways right??????
 
Glad to hear that! btw if you can, get some of those mega huge cfl's @ 2700K as everybody's right about the lack of light stretching and stunning your plants.

Also why haven't you bought legit beans yet? I mean if the Pacos bust your grow they don't care if it's bag-seed or if it's not supposed to yield much. You're good growing from what I get from your pictures, so think about it.. you're already risking your butt, do it for some certified LSD, chemdawg or kush.
 
I use the mega huge cfl's and even they won't do much for that plant, maybe thicken the bud at the top at best. I am suprised that the leaves at the bottom of the plant are so healthy with that little light.
 
if you are going 400w you should go CMH (ceramic metal halide) it requires new ballast and philips bulb (4k) but its better than HPS
 
what are you talking about?? "far from phenos" what do you mean?
every strain has diffrent phenos, unless so preserved you pulling the same exact
strain every single sproutling. which i cant belive. bagseed is still a given strain, its just crosses with an anonymous male, if not self pollinated. exp, my gods gift has thrown at me 3 diffrent phenos. one flowers large heavy set buds, ones smaller buds and heavier aroma, and the other is frosty as hell. which is a typical pheno for any strain. even a bag seed. it had to come somewhere.
the only prob with bag seed is the high rate of herms. which acually can be concidered another pheno..
however you want to look at it.

also about them lights, your already streching, im subbed for this, i cant belive you did this with the lights your using.
wait till you get that sodium, shits gonna pop! youll be impressed!!

but good shit to getting this grow that big with your lights

But heres the thing.......I have 4 plants, and only 3 of them are doing that. The other plant is half the size and the buds are doing great, compact, dense. If I get a 150 watt HPS plus the 70 watt HPS I got, plus all the other lighting, I know it will help. It will give me 220 watts of HPS. And this was my first indoor. And where I live, we have a population of about 600, not even a stop light. Its an old coal miners town, and the only cop thats in town only works on the weekends. They really dont push for "busts" in my county in the odd number years, just the even for election year. I just figure if I can get everything dialed in from bagseed, my legit plants will be great. Also, I was talking to one of our local old timers, who also grows. He said that he has had that issue with a 1000 watt HPS on 5 plants before. Probably mostly genetics. But he used a piece of plexiglass and it did its own form of scrogging. Plus, he had 2 exhaust vents, one above the plants where the lights where, ( the heat was trapped above the plexiglass, so it was easier to control temps ) and one below to pull old air out. Ever hear of that? Sounds very plausible to me. And I have had his bud before..................INCREDIBLE !!!!! But during this time, we kinda keep our distance. Less hands in the kitchen, less chance of getting burned.

I rotate everyday, mist with carbonated water 20 minutes before lights off, and, am ALWAYS adjusting my cfls.
