LOL they do kinda look like a males though, just cuz they so lanky. Not trying to insult the guy.

Looks like a nice light, is that a 400w. Should be alot closer about a foot if it is a 400w. If your nervous about it, just move it closer by about 12" a day and you can see/test the results.

they're tall and lanky because the lights too far away, it has absolutely nothing to do with the sex of the plant. They are still vegging...

no problem was i was using two 40 watt Fluro light
not i bought the HPS 400W...so thats why ...they just now gettin proper light
20 inch from tops...

drop your light or increase wattage or both u can top your plants and clone the tops but no shoots looked good 4 cloning

this is how close i got my 400 watt it's like 6 inches and a fan blowing directly on the bulb and across the tops of flowersa good way to test is if you put the back side of your hand under facing the bulb if it feels uncomfortable for you it is probably too hot for the plants

Unreal. Have you ever looked at any pictures on this site. If your choice is to clone those plants, are you going to use the same light? If so don't waste your time. Sometimes it's hard to tell if posts are serious here.

i was wondering if when my mother becomes to big or tall and i have no room could i have one of her clones become the next mother or would i have to germinate a new seed.

this is what i do .
i dont have room for moms so i just take cuttings before i put plants into flower and the cuttings become the new "moms" i like to think of them more as donors. the fun with this begins when you have multiple strains it takes a lot to make sure you dont flower the last of a strain you want to keep.
