Now here's a man that likes his blue water !!
Very nice pics.
What did the Cuda weigh? I had one stalking me years ago while spearfishing in the Keys (grew up down there & LIVED in the water) - had to finally shoot the damn thing cause he was freaking me out (and I've interacted with thousands of them). I never did get a weight on him but he was 54" long & fat like that one and looked absolutely evil cruising the mangroves. After the spear strike I literally climbed into the mangrove canopy as he ripped around at the end of the line - to this day I have no doubt had I still been in the water he would have hit me.
Again, very nice fish.

Thanks GWN! Sorry I don't have an official weight, but I am 6' so that might give you an idea of the size. Those big ones are the hardest to catch, very smart fish when they get that big. He was pretty heavy as you can see in the picture where he's horizontal. But yeah, I love the deep water and I love catching big fish, going down to the keys this next week to try my luck there :blsmoke:

im not sure if i showed off my mount and scrore sheet. it made the top 35 in the OREGON RECORD BOOK. so far # 31 i belive for ARCHERY. my 1st record buck ever... it scored 114 1/8.

Heres where fishing and hunting mingle.
This is a 54lb Small mouth Buffalo I got in a 4 acre farm "pond". They were on the mud flats in about a foot of water spawning & some of the most tuned in animals you've ever tried to sneak up on. They can hear/feel a car door slam at 100 yds & they just ghost away so your stealth technique must be flawless.
Speaking of flawless, your skiing technique better be pretty good too!
Its a hoot, I guarantee.
