Dang, that hog would chew you the fuck up if he got a hold of you. Is that considered small. med. or large where you are?
Very large. My Son said I was crazy on it.

I had 180gr. Bullet for a Muzzleloader and people told me it wasn't big enough for Deer.

I can no longer run or climb so I went out where I knew Hogs were day before Muzzloading Deer Season. Sat down next to a tree. About dark this Hog came I shot it,ran a little bit and dropped.

Called my wife after I field dressed it. Dear I have a big Hog down. Do you need help? I already had a Bobcat being mounted so I says can I have it mounted? Nope. Well I don't need help and hung up on her. Then I realized I couldn't move it. Dear I think I need help. It's on the way.

Went back to the house got my Deer Cart, my Son came. Well back then couple miles was close. Told my Son it was close to the road. My Son went with me and it was a few miles. Son I thought you said it was by the road? We got it on the Deer Cart. Pulled it about half way. Came to the first hill. We couldn't get it started up the hill. Dad did you think this through? Not really. Son says how we going to get it out? Well we could quarter it. Son says no. We'll only other option I have is I have a Come Along and Block and Tackle. So we went back to the house and got that. It took us until 2AM to get it out.

Son told my wife Dad is crazy way back in the woods where we would never find him. He can't run, sets on the ground, shoots a big Hog with a Muzzleloader. He says that Hog is going to be mounted if I have to pay for it.

Then the Taxidermist wanted to keep it for his Showroom but I was there soon as it was done.

The Deer my Baby Sister was at the farm with me Deer Hunting. We was resting for the Noon Hour.

I heard shots across the road. Went outside there was this Buck chasing a Doe down the hill. I shot it with a 20ga with slugs.

Before someone crawls up my butt for being a trophy hunter, I'll qualify this by saying I'm a meat hunter. I utilize every animal I harvest & if it happens to have nice horns or antlers then its a bonus. I've fed my family for over 25 years mostly on wild game & I have to say we eat good !
Here is a couple shots from last fall - the moose has a 46" spread (not a monster but Lots of fantastic eating). My Dall sheep is 36" with 13" bases and talk about tasty - some of the best meat you've ever eaten.
We'll start with that.
Peace
Nice

I used to be a meat hunter back in the day. For 18 years, 4 of us men folk in the family would hunt for 2 weeks every year, and take 1 usually 2 deer every day. Then cut up 2 deer every night to make room to hang tomorrow’s deer. The women would bag it and grind some with added pork fat. Everyone’s freezer would be full after thanksgiving.

Since then it’s just me hunting behind my house. I take 1 adult buck a year, sometimes 2. Don’t mess with the does anymore, they dont run from me because they see me most days. The benefit is when the bucks get stupid, they don’t run from me either.

I don’t eat it as much anymore so I take it to the butcher and donate it to the soup kitchens for the hungry. I get the horns and the backstraps for free.
Here is leftovers. Venison tenderloin wrapped in bacon.

What kind of ram? Domestic or wild? The thin horned sheep that I hunted (Dall Rams) are delicious no matter the age.
It was a High Fence hunt and it was an old Mufolin ( sp )

I asked Ted Nugent and he said marinate it but that didn't help.

Killed a Boar Hog High Fence it was ok but not as good as wild. I always cut them soon as down.

I can't hunt anymore because I destroyed my left shoulder in a fall. I can't drive because I forget too much and I can't walk very well and if I fall I can't get back up.

Went fishing today caught enough for Dinner but had my wife with me. Had couple Boats but sold them because I was no longer safe.

Ian Ford documented the moment a jaguar delivered a fatal bite to a caiman in the Pantanal in Mato Grosso, Brazil. A call over the radio alerted Ian that a jaguar had been spotted prowling the banks of a São Lourenço River tributary. Kneeling in the boat, he was perfectly placed when the cat delivered the skull-crushing bite to the unsuspecting yacare caiman.
