Hey all, hope everyone is good. So I've got a little problem that I've been fighting during this grow. I set my pH at 5.85 or so, and the next morning when I check it, it's down to 4.5 I haven't had this problem before, I have always had to bring pH down. Using GHE trio (well Micro and Bloom only in this stage - Weekly feed) - Calcium/Magesium (more about this later) and GHE Bloom Booster. I was using some hydroguard product, but I thought this is what was causing the bad pH swings. Nope. Last two water changes I didn't add any hydroguard (got cold water temps anyway) and the pH still swinging into the 4's. I got to use some GHE pH Up to bring it back to normal. About the Cal/Mag. The plant started to show signs of a magnesium deficiency. I increased the Cal/Mag to 20 ml per my 15 liters of water and the problem went away. The plant is starting to look good going on its 4th week of flowing. I got a couple of low branches on one side...running a little test of not pruning to see what happens. Well...plant tries to fall over on that end already Need a new hydro bucket that stops the netpot from being able to tip over. But I digress... Anyway, if anyone knows what could be causing the pH to go down let me know. Thanks in advance. Plus....need to update my journal. Work is keeping me busy.
