Big problem. 1 Light accidentally on 24 hours for about a week towards end of flowering.

Hi guys,

So I haven't been checking on my plants much recently as been so busy with work. I have 50 gorrila glue in a 8 x 4 tent with 3 600w lamps.

I noticed one light was always coming on about 10 mins early but ive just reliases it wasn't, it's actually been on 24/7 for approx a week now as the switch on plug had moved.

My plants are on week 6 of flowering and I can notice quite a few of them looking like they are going back in to veg state?

Are the ruined? What shall I do?

I had a reveg issue in my last grow, albeit not as severe as your issue. I would say that the crop is absolutely not ruined. Impacted negatively, absolutely, but they still have the potential for a harvest. So, your greatest concerns for the remainder of your grow are going to be hermaphrodiites. I know that you've many plants, but you will need to be going over them with a fine tooth comb every few days in search of nanners, pollen sacs, or even full on seed sacks should you miss some pollen. Cannabis pollen is permanently deactivated when in direct contact to water, if you find a pollen sac/nanner, remove it carefully as not to allow pollen to dust about, and immediately spray the localized area with plain jane water.
Now, with all of that being said, you may get lucky and have zero nanners or hermies. The fact that the light ran 24/7 is actually not as bad a problem as having an interrupted dark period. Because there was never a dark period to interrupt, this will be less likely to create a hermie as opposed to a plant that recieved some of it's dark period but was awkakened. This is NOT to say that you are in the clear, just that it could be a worse situation! :)
Your buds, unfortunetly, will have a reduction in harvest due to stems forming at the tops of the buds as to facilitate new veggie growth. Reverting to bloom will cause new buds to begin growing atop of these newly grown stems, but the potency should be largely unaffected. Best of luck to you and your grow, don't give up, your situation is quite salvageable!

Thanks for your reply! Good news Its not completely ruined, they were looking so good - just shows you cant take your eye off the ball in this game or this is what happens, I should of paid more attention. Do you think it will effect the buds bag appeal much?

My apologies for the super-late reply! I don't think that it will affect bag appeal very much, it will create some deformed leaves with no trichomes or sugar on them that you may otherwise leave on the bud that would need removed. But the buds themselves should remain pretty!
