Big screen grow box project. Help wanted.

Whats up guys. First time poster, long time smoker. I'm a couple weeks into my first attempt at growing. So far so good with it being a closet grow w/ cfls but I would like to have a more controlled environment for the next go. So I came up with a idea to upcycle my unused big screen into a place my babies can call home.



So what Im working with is about 50.5" of height, 45.6" wide, and the side is about 21.2" wide. I haven't pitted it out yet because i need a few more tools but its looking like I will have decent space for a couple plants. So before I go all Tim the Tool Man Taylor on the thing Im hoping for a little advice.

What are the must needs for a space like this? Wiring? Will I have to cover all of the ventilation holes or can I keep them for more air flow? White paint or should I invest in something for the sides? Since I also need to cover the screen. And the big one. Lighting? Can I still work with cfls or should I upgrade? How easy is it going to be to wire this thing?

I wont be able to start buying parts till next month so this is the perfect time to plan. Any and all advice would be appreciated since this is going to be my first box!

Alright I went right to work on getting it cleaned out. Now comes the fun part.

Im thinking cfls since that is what I'm using now. I only have 4 bulbs in 2 sockets but I seen a few ideas with light fixtures that seems like a good idea or just might splurge on a HPS once its time for flowering and cut the cost later. I also have two under under cabinet fluorescent lights that I have attached to the walls in my closet so I want put those in to.

As far as measurements I havent retaken it but its only about a inch from the original ones.

Thanks. I will keep updating as I go. Fingers crossed I can get it finished before school starts in a week and half.

Are you going to build the back of the t.v up so its vertical or keep it angled?

Im going to keep it the same. So that way no one can tell what it is

Right on. Try to lay reflective Mylar inside. It'll work better than the white paint. Do you have any ideas to get rid of the smell? I can't wait to see this t.v. Grow room blow up.

I will be picking up some mylar on Monday. I haven't figured out how Im going to control the smell just yet. Part of my homework for the weekend as well as which lights I want to place in it. Im leaning towards a ozone gen. Seems like a good way for me to control things without extra exhausts and to keep the illusion of a regular tv.
