This will be the second year at this site as well as expanding to a second site.

The swamp tubes I will be using are a homage to "Two Heads" origional idea of totes, but I will be using 17g farm muck buckets. So far they have been drilled out for air pruning and drainage, as well as painted camo. Due to location I only have three swamp tubes but without nutes and just good soil I pulled 1/2lb per plant last season. This year i will be top dressing with gaia green.

My soil is as follows:
Promix hp
Cow manure
Sheep manure
Shrimp compost
Perlite
Peatmoss
Lime
Rock minerals
Pelletized chicken manure

I am expanding to a new area that holds 2 groups of 4 plants. They are on the edge of a low laying area keeping with the no maintenance grow.

nice tubs I use the same ones only I cut the bottom out let the roots grow into the muck! less watering

I thought of that, but with many small holes the bucket keeps its integrity so I can move them around. Plus once they get waterlogged they sink about 2" into the marsh, which at the base I've filled with peatmoss. Ive never had problems with watering.

the area is a cow pasture and one dry year the cows walked within feet of the plants. Becuase they are still buckets i was able to safely carry them deeper into the swamp.

The 2 new plots are doing just fine.

It takes over an hr to get to the swamp but ill need to go out soon to give last veg fert and support the buckets to keep them from toppling over. I'll also be supoorting the plants with chicken wire to keep them from breaking. I expect high winds end of summer and if I don't support now ill be screwed.

Went for the long hike last night. Weather was finally cool enough to wear my chest waders lol. The three plants in the swamp and doing great, I took poles out and supported the buckets.

The shishkaberry and grape jam are fighting over who's going to be bigger, and the crown royal is underperforming but has nice dence node spacing, hope it doesnt mold up to much.
