Looked like you are right, T5's for the veg, but I am sure the flowering part had HID lamps...hard to tell.
Good to see police are fighting the narcotic trade, but yet again, they wouldn't have had $hit unless someone grassed......what a load of pants.

They were vegging with T-5's but they were flowering with HPS. That was quite a setup! Still, I find it hard to believe that's the biggest they've come acrossed in southern cali.
Also, I doubt they are working with a strain that finishes in a month. What they more than likely are doing is a staggered harvest. They probably harvested half of the flowering room each month then move more vegging plants in and then harvest the other half the next month.
That sucks that it was busted though.

LED's are soon gonna kill the cfl market, some of the new units on the market are astounding.
They consume about the same amount of power (worst case) as CFL's yet the quality and light output blows the CFL bulbs out of the water.
I'm working on designing the driver for one such light at the moment for a friend who is venturing into the market.
New driver chips and LEDs are released faster than we are currently getting from design to prototype on the desk.

The t5s were only in the vegging area for mothers the flowering room had HIDs.
