biggest rubbermaid growbox *pics

my grow box set up it this.

2 45 gallon rubbermaid totes.
10 23 watt cfls 6 blue 4 red
2 27 watt cfls blue spectrum
2 45 watt cfls blue spectrum
1 4 inch exhaust fan
1 6 inch high powered intake fan


i just stacked the boxs on top of each other and cut the middle out.
the box is completely sealed.
the lights that are on the right side their will be another one on the left just didnt feel like putting it on. and the red bulbs that are in the middle will go on the left gotta buy two more 23watters (blue).

the two holes that are next two the exhaust fan are where the 45 watt bulbs hang from i just dont have them hooked up and i wont need them for a couple weeks after i start growing any way. they will hang to the hight needed withing 3 inches. also ill tape the hole and tape them on the box...

i have about 150 into this i most of the bulbs and nutes from a frined of mine i bought from him for $150 but i got a half also ( beeharp2001 he has a grow journal on here of some bagseed and they were some strongs trust me! )

im going to grow some sweet tooth out of here. i can get clones of it. i can get them for 12 for 200.

i like the set up i was debating a simalar set up... i guess ill give it a go, maybe 3-4 plants?

why not just build a wood box? much easier to work with.

only reason for these rubbermaid setups i thought was to conceal it and make them look stealth... but fans and wires and holes all over the front sides of these doesn't make it stealth.

or i guess if you don't have any power tools this is a good option... just wondering. you have any plants in there yet?

You might want to have a high powered exhaust instead of intake. You want the hot air to get out! The cold air will have to come in.

Yeah, you are definitely going to want to make sure you have adequate ventilation to get the heat out. I'm doing test runs on my setup now so that I can get my temps under control before my plants go in.

Still looking at high 80's in both rooms (flower/veg) and I have a much bigger space than what you have there.

Solve it now!

i should have. because i figured out you can get 150 watt hps for $20 and you cant put them in here.... and i dont care for stealth evry1 i know dont give a fuck. no cop buddys and its in my basement in a closet. the closet it stealth enough.. yea i have one kush seed and 2 bagseeds (waiting for the other 1 to pop up. that just poped out of the soil today they have a purple stems though probully from temps cuz i only got 2 bulbs on and its 70 daytime and 60 night time.....



also is their a way to keep to fan noise to a minimum??? the intake fan is loud as hell when turned on low i dont want to have it on any higher. also i dont have but the ehaust on right now...

I sure hope you got a short indica plant and remember to read up on CFL lights before u go out and get some. You should really aim for 50+ Watts for a box that size just to be sure.
