I hope you don't really believe that everything we've been doing in the Middle East has actually been against "Terror". All this "nation building" can be summed up in a three letter word: Oil. It's not about security. It's about how much we value ideas that were built on ideas, rather than a human life. 2,752 is the official death toll for 9/11. We've killed over 3,000 civilians to kill Osama. It really boils down to physicalism vs. idealism at this point. I just don't think and American life is worth more than any other life. Sorry if that bothers you.

The SEALs took fire on their way to the compound’s third floor, where bin Laden had been sleeping, officials said. The encounter with bin Laden lasted only seconds, and ended with a kill shot to his face.


The raid was not supposed to last more than 30 minutes. The forces finished in 38 minutes, even though they lost one of their choppers and had to go to a back-up plan.
Four helicopters were used in the raid. Two went in, and two were in reserve.

Hovering above the compound on the way in, one of the choppers developed a mechanical problem that caused it to lose lift, officials said. The pilot made a controlled landing, according to the officials. When he couldn’t get the bird airborne again, the SEALs blew it up and left in one of the reserves.


Officials described the reaction of the special operators when they were told a number of weeks ago that they had been chosen to train for the mission.

“They were told, ‘We think we found Osama bin Laden, and your job is to kill him,’” an official recalled.

The SEALs started to cheer.


Radioing a commander on Sunday, the team reported the capture with a pre-arranged signal: “Geronimo!”

I agree with you totally here...

To say it is just about oil is a cop out. There is no way it is as simple as that.

If America was truly about freedom we would pull all our troops back to American soil and mind our own business. Our government just keeps grabbing more and more power including infringing on the rights of sovereign countries around the world.

Good bad or indifferent we just invaded a country and killed citizens again without the consent of congress. According to the war powers act there has to be an imminent threat... An old man living in a compound in a foreign country is hardly an imminent threat. We the people need to reign in our government.
 
People still sleep at the wheel I see. Economy continue to decline, people still losing employment, dollar continue to decline, job growth almost nonexistent, manufacturing is offshore, but you fake patriots bumping your chest like the brain dead enthusiast you are.

There are actually a surprising number of people who love war. They may not admit it, but they love it none the less. Every last one of these companies has a board of directors. Every one of those board members loves war. Why? Becasue WAR=PROFIT

We are living in a society where Donald Trump feel like he is suitable to be in office. What's next? A reality show called "Who want to be the next President?" Come on now ain't nobody is going to be suitable for that position because everybody have their own opinion and beliefs. I see no changes since Obama been in office yet i voted for him based on the "changes" he promised to make and i'm willing to give him another 4 years... Hell he still cleaning up the shit that Bush fucked up.
