BKR Project....let's roll.

Current harvest. The two on the left are purple and I have no idea what they are. The other two are a light green BKR and a dark green BKR.


I finally decided to get my shit together and clean this corner. Been working on it for the last couple days. 8 years of grow bags, branches, gloves, empty nute containers, butane canisters, and so on.


This was not here. Repurposed top part of a desk and bottom cab from something. Actually that bottom part was my grow room 10 years ago. Lol.


My 6'x6'x6' room.


My simple setup. 600hps, fan, and some plants. I have 4 autos in there and 3 reg photos. I've never grown photos. Think I'll show em outside this year and see what happens.


This arrived today. It's an all metal 12v fan. I cut the car plug off and wired up a 12v adapter. Sturdy little sucker. It has low, off,and high. On low it moves plenty of air. High is way too much.

I'm just damn proud of myself for cleaning that fuckin mess. No more playing the maze game. Now on to the rest of the shop.

Good to see ya back on this thread, @HighLowGrow! Looking very nice glad you got motivated in the cleanup / organizing the grow area. Please refresh my memory...BKR is which strain? Hope it's not another 1.5 years B4 we here from you again on this thread. You all may have one of my threads going soon... and IF it happens, at this point, it will be me starting a MI Medical outdoor grow... I'm thinking KC45...?? Looking for good BIG plants that DON'T mind a LITTLE too much shade...any suggestions... don't have to be auto, just shade friendly, but I DO recall something I read by KC that the KC45 IS OK with some extra shade...will see if / when it happens. Will ALSO be finding a mother out of a couple dozen JackieWhite bag seeds, and will possibly run one or two of those through to select a good mama...

BKRs are fem Berry Ryder & Afghan Kush Ryder. Still thinking about adding Grape Stomper to the mix. I actually have 2 Stompers and 2 BKRs germing right now to be next in line. Think I’ll start another BKR in 3 weeks or so. In the meantime I’ll order some TMist and hit one of these upcoming Stompers.

Lil history -

A few years back I used Tmist to reverse a fem AKR and harvested lotsOseeds. Since then, I have had a lot of AKRs through my room. So many I needed something different. Did a lil trading and obtained some fem Berry Ryder seeds. Smell at first sight. Decided to Tmist the Berry Ryder. Again, lotsOseeds.

I needed a project to take me through winter and beyond. Always thought breeding was kinda cool. Sure I'll give it a shot.

Afghan Kush Ryder x Berry Ryder aka BKR

So we have the dog shitty stink, high thc% of the AKR and the solid rock hard berry stinky golf ball buds in the Berry Ryder.

Here we go.

I started an AKR and a Berry Ryder. The Berry got misted with Tmist to produce pollen. The pollen was sprinkled on the AKR pistils.

BKR > BKS (Berry Kush Stomper) it is. I like it.

The aroma is grapey for sure. Smoke is not harsh. Uplifting and relaxing at the same time. I believe it’s a hybrid leaning towards the sativa side.

So here is my plan in pencil:

TMist a Stomper >

Pollinate a BKR f4, AKR, and a Berry Ryder. I’ll start these three in soil when I start misting the Stomper or the following week.

Then maybe run with BKR x Stomper (BKS) to f4 or so.

After decarb I ended up with 14 grams. Added to 1 cup butter or two sticks.

Took half of the budder and made some crispies. It's been awhile. Damn these are good.

So here we go again. BKR is back in full force. In the last 6 months I’ve grown a few rounds of BKRs in my bleachers and forgot how fuckin ”stinky so good” it is. Smells like cat pee, Lysol, and diesel. Very stony. In fact, I’ve been thinking about getting it tested just for my own curiosity.

Here is one of the BKRs currently growing. It’s topped and suppose to have 4 main buds. Unfortunately one broke off. This still has a few weeks to go. 2 gallon bags. 600 hps. 20/4.



Anyhow - BKR is too good to stop now. I’ve been thinking about its next adventure.
