Portable AC aren't very efficient. A cheap 5k btu window banger will outperform a 10k portable dual hose all day long.
The best way to affordably cool a sealed tent IMO.. is to take apart a window AC, and cut a slit on the side of the tent. Then, bend the evaporator coil away from the unit and stick it through the hole without cracking the copper lines. Then seal the tent hole back up and put one more fan iside the tent that blows through the coil. Then, build a box off the back of the AC that is next to the tent on a stand, and duct mod it with another booster fan (the stock fan does some of the work) so the heat goes out the window. Basically like having a perfect tent sized mini split, but without spending a fortune on one that does the whole room.
