Black Jack

Anybody had any experiences with it?

Is it difficult to grow?

I was just going to start a new thread and ask this very same question, then decided to do a search and found yours, so woot for that!

anyways, i got 5 fem(Nirvana)Black Jacks otw, and i was also wondering about others experience with the strain. Thoughts?

Bumpety Bump!

Got 3 females 2 weeks into flowering now from Nirvana, so far so good very easy growing plant. Can't give a smoke report for another 6 or 7 weeks though. Will say they do smell even in veg, open the tent and smells like a cat pissed on them. Can't wait till they start fattening up.

I had trouble with algae in a dwc set-up, roots got slimy, i cut them and nursed them for a month and wasn't getting anywhere. I transfered them to dirt and i think one is going to make it. I started one in dirt and it has been very healthy from the start. I thought i had a run of bad luck so i bought 5 more. Started 3 in dwc in a new res, new air stones and tubing, slimy roots in 3 days. Transfered them to dirt before any real damage was done. I was using hygrozyme, H2o2, and a chiller I should not be having root problems.

I'll try to throw up some pics tonight when I get home from work, they won't be bud porn shots, still got a few weeks before they start getting all sexy on me. lol

Here's a couple pics of one of my tents. First pic the 3 Blackjacks are the 3 on the lower half of the picture. The top middle is a Papaya, upper right corner is a Blue Mystic, rest are Blackjacks.

Sorry to say with all three blackjack plants i have grown i got absolutely no color change and that was one of the reasons i chose that strain,having said that i love the plant. Very long flower cycle for me but product was good

thats very unfortunate to hear. like you i ordered them because i thought that the color change (among the exclusively 'pronographic' bud shots i can find of it) were if anything common. as far as the product, strong? tasty? more thoughts!

it's all advertisizing i grew 10 blue mystics, none of them looked like the pic, i don't expect the blackjack to be any different

ya your probably right but iam still going to keep my fingers crossed! lol
